Very nice cookbook with pictures
I purchased the Kindle version so this review is also about digital quality which is very good. I was a little disappointed with the use of flour for some of the recipes which isn’t anything I consider healthy. However, not every one is gluten intolerant or has Celiac Sprue so, okay I get it. Other than that, there’s good ideas to be found even if you don’t follow the recipes exactly and that’s what I’m always looking for - good ideas. Another criticism I have is when authors who sell products have you buy a cookbook and recipes need proprietary ingredients. I would love to purchase her protein powder because it is surely of a great quality, but too pricey for this retired lady. Also, pea protein tears up my gut so that’s another issue. An alternative suggestion would have been nice. All in all, liked it enough to keep it.

Great recipes!
Love this cookbook. Lots of great information about ingredients and cooking plus delicious recipes! These are the copy cat chick fil-a sandwich, hummus, and raspberry thumbprint cookies which were all great!

Great resource
The recipes that I have tried are all great. In addition, it is great to have the detailed history and information regarding the problems with our food choices in one book. It is a reminder and motivation of why we must make changes - this book gives one the tools to start or to continue on the journey.

Great Recipes
I ordered this book as "Used-Good Condition". I paid a fraction of what the cost for a new one is and was so surprised when I received my copy...it is literally brand new! I love a bargain!PRO: This cookbook has a good variety of foods and recipes that take minimal time to prepare. I also appreciate the ingredient lists. They are not terribly long or chocked full of pricey and obscure ingredients that I'd never use on a regular basis.CON: If your kitchen is anything like mine, most things used to cook with are pretty mainstream. With that being said, in order to make healthier meals, a commitment has to be made which comes at a cost, i.e., monetarily to replace them with healthier options. However, at the end of the day, I'm happy to do so for peace of mind! Knowing the food being fed to the family isnt toxic garbage makes me happy and excited for a healthier lifestyle.
