I recently have converted my cage over to a padded lining rather than doing wood chips. And the frustrating part was when I would put the hay on the ground. The guinea pigs would run right through it and it just created such an awful mess. So I ordered this and it has cut down on the hey tremendously. I was throwing away so much hair because their poop would get mixed in with it and it just became a huge pain in the butt to try to separate the two. A little trick I did that worked fantastic was I put a strong magnet on the other side of the cage. This really makes it incredibly sturdy so that way the pigs don’t knock it over because it simply just rests on the cage and it doesn’t have a tremendous amount of weight to it but it was an amazing deal and I’m incredibly happy I did it.

I like that it is metal so my bunny cannot chew and ingest pieces of it. It does allow a lot of hay to fall through which makes a mess but at the same time it makes it easy for him to eat the hay and get to it. The size is great and does not take up too much space in the cage.

The media could not be loaded. These are sturdy enough both my rabbit and my chinchilla have stood on top of theirs, each has one. It does not break, it does not fall down. It holds all the hay they need per day. It's perfect for what I bought it for.

I love the design and size of this item but I dislike the fact that my Bunnies tend to pull out most of the hay out in chunks causing it to get very messy and alot of the hay goes to waste. 😪

I love these hay bins. I even bought two more, so I can have hay in 4 places around my bunny's cage. She doesn't like to eat hay, so I am doing all I can to keep some in front uf her all all of the time. You won't be disappointed with these hay bins .

My Chinchillas love this feeder! Until now, I’d been using a large bowl with a non-slip bottom for their hay. This is so much better. We’re going on a family vacation, and so the search started when I was looking for a solution to my boys enough hay for the duration of our trip. Now, they’re having more fun sorting through the hay, these racks help keep the hay clean, and I love the metal backing plate which prevents a large mess outside of the cage. Since this is a two pack, I can now give them two choices of hay/grass at once! These are a good size. My chinchillas can fit inside it with room to spare (yes, they tested that out). I was originally worried about them getting stuck inside, but with the gridded base, they were able to climb out. I think that’s a plus for this design over others. After belaboring the decision, and comparing for way too long, I’m really happy with my choice!

It’s kinda small which works for holding hay somewhat but my bunny didn’t like it. She ended up pulling all the hay out almost overnight and then it was wasted because she wouldn’t eat it
