The NASA Archives. 45th Ed.: 60 Years in Space (45th Edition)

I am not an expert on space travel and solar system exploration but found this book very informative with excellent illustrations and inputs by people involved with NASA activities and history.

A lovely little book, but let down by the small format. Available as a larger volume, the content would work on a bigger page, but here, it looks cramped and compromised. A wealth of information, but probably worth spending more for the full size book

Brilliant book.

Any fan of Space Travel would love this. Great stories, photo's and info. A small criticism, some stories get interrupted for 6-7pages with other stories put in between when they could easily have their own chapter.

Bought as a gift for my Dad and he loved it.

Thus book is just fantastic and brilliant to read great photographs.

An interesting read full of information

Beautiful pictures

mi è arrivato oggi. E' protetto da un cellophane che lo sigilla dall'umidità. Ancora non l'ho tolto. Il volume è bello peso (è un libro fotografico e normalmente la carta usata è più spessa). Per il momento me lo sto godendo così, ancora chiuso e sigillato. Quindi in questo momento non recensisco l'interno ma solo il manufatto esterno, molto compatto, pesante, gran bel libro. Appena ne avrò completato la lettura e la visione delle foto aggiornerò la recensione. -- Come promesso aggiorno la recensione. Ho terminato la lettura e la visione del volume. E' molto bello, ci sono foto che riguardano il lavoro nelle strutture specialistiche, gli ingegneri e i tecnici che negli anni hanno lavorato nei vari progetti. A fianco di ciò vi sono descrizioni degli avvenimenti e alcuni colloqui astronauti-base. In un certo senso è un condensato , non per questo non valido, ma perchè imprese come quelle descritte meriterebbero volumi per ogni distinta missione o programma. Niente toglie valore a questo volume, anche perchè, per persone come me che hanno vissuto i primi lanci , dei satelliti e poi degli esseri umani, ha riportato alla mente ricordi bellissimi. Per concludere, ribadisco che è un volume da avere, anche se in lingua inglese, ma merita.
