Authentic and delicious
Everyone tasting my dishes prepared with this mole agree it is delicious. When I go to Mexico I used to buy it there. Now, I love Amazon is also selling it. Worth trying.

Delicious and easy to use
Admittedly I have not tried many kinds of Mole sauce. I've used Dona Maria's an one other whose name I forget. But of the three, I like this one best. It has a somewhat sweet taste. It's moist and easy to blend into broth or whatever other ingredients you are using. Dona Maria's Mole in the jar always seemed dry and difficult to blend with other ingredients. Not so with this brand. I made a delicious sauce for chicken by sauteeing onions, garlic, and diced tomatoes, adding broth, and stirring in a generous amount of this Mole paste until it was just the right texture, then poured it over chicken and baked in the oven. My favorite way to use it is for chicken mole enchiladas. I have been unable to find mole paste in any local stores, so I'm glad it's available on Amazon.

Rich and Authentic Molé
The sign of a good Mexican restaurant is it's molé sauce; a Mexican tradition. Most restaurants don't even serve it because of the complexity of the recipe. This bottled molé is every bit as delicious as the finest authentic Mexican restaurants I've been to, both here and South of the border. Highly recommended.

A sweet, dried pepper tasting mole
The first thing you taste in this is the ancho (hot raisin) and mulato chiles. Raisins are also a separate ingredient. The sweetness of this is on the strong side for me, sugar is the 2nd ingredient, and they also put syrup in this.On the plus side its healthier than some of the other paste type moles here. They list nuts as an ingredient, but the nut flavor is not there.I'd like to see this with less sugar, more nuts and spices. As far as a store bought paste this is good, but I'd recommend using it as a base and adding to it to improve the flavor towards a mole more of your liking.

It's a sweeter mole that we enjoy a lot
Xico's style of mole uses some fruits that make it sweeter. As a mole sauce, or, as a thicker dipping sauce for chips. Recommended.

OMG -- so yummy
I use this in my chicken fajitas and love it. My boyfriend's mother is from Mexico and she used to make him mole, it was his favorite. We have a favorite mexican restaurant that serves mole that he likes. So I've been trying to come up with a to give him his mole fix at home. Tried this brand because of the reviews. Now it is becoming a stable in our pantry. I add it to my chicken when I'm cooking it for fajitas -- I add chicken stock to dilute and its a wonderful addition. I read someone saying it was too sweet -- I can't say for sure if that's the case because I add a couple of chipolte peppers --so its not sweet in my stuff.

Deliciousness in a bottle.- Must try!
I had read previous reviews and when I received and made it at home i added chicken broth (after boiling chicken) peanut butter (crunchy) & Dark chocolate (85%). This sauce was AMAZING! Best mole I have eaten in USA. You can really taste the smokiness of the dried peppers. It is way better than any grocery store found mole sauce. I was sceptical about buying mole in amazon, but now it will be in my monthly restocks.
