The spark of life
Mag is an essential mineral we all need because our soil has been robbed of it. I sleep better and have less nervous tension when I'm taking this. It's important for me to know I'm protecting my bones, brain, and body with the different forms of mag in this supplement.

Magnesium
I'm am an avid believer and user of supplements, but reviewing them is problematic, and my results may not be your results for these reasons:1) I am not a laboratory scientist, I do not play one on tv, nor do I know one, so who knows what’s exactly contained in them.2) It is difficult for consumers to see any actual difference in how you feel within a few days to a couple of weeks. Some supplements take as much as ninety days to see results.3) Even if we do notice a difference, we all take other meds or supplements that may affect our results one way or the other.4) We all have different physiologies, and are just different in so many ways (lifestyles etc). But we can hope for the best when we see others having positive actions going on, that are attributed to said supplements. So my personal non doctor opinion of my own results: Easy to swallow and does its thing. Helps with my muscle cramps

Interesting magnesium supplement concept
I have been using a magnesium supplement for some time after discovering I had low magnesium ( many people do and don't realize it). So when I saw this new brand I wanted to try them out. Note while I did receive the product for free, I do have to pay income taxes on the full value of it.I was initially prescribed Magnesium Oxide for my low Mag, but after I did my own research, I discovered that other forms of Mag were much more absorbable. So I have been using 200mg of Mag Taurate in the morning and 200 mg of Mag Glycinate in the evening. Doing so has made a world of difference in a number of areas including eliminating any restfulness in my sleep. Since this product mixes 5 types of Mag, I was intrigued. I have taken two a day (in place of my morning Mag Taurate) for the last several days and didn't really notice much difference. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it is as effective as what I have been using, bad in that I didn't notice any improvement for the added cost of this product. One concern I have is the label does not tell you how much of each type of Mag is in each dose. I believe that is very important to know. Is it equal amounts or some variation? There is no way to know. In addition is the 200mg per dose the actual elemental magnesium, or is that the dose of the 5 types (which yield a lower level of elemental magnesium)? Also very important to know.. Additionally, I do wish they (actually all vitamin manufacturers should) would post lab results periodically on their product. The Vitamin industry is not well regulated and seeing independent lab reports helps a consumer know they are getting what they paid for.For these reasons as well as these being more pricey than what I normally buy, I am going to rate this 3 stars. If the additional information I mentioned was included in the product listing, I would have added an additional star.

Sleeping Very Well
I usually want only one or two ingredients in my supplements so I can see how I react to each but my husband prefers it like this one that puts all you need together in one product. He was a little concerned when he first took it that he might have some side effects but he had none at all. There were no stomach or heartburn issues. He actually remarked about how well he was sleeping. I have a friend who advised this combination of magnesium works very well for that. If you need to relax before bed and don't want to take sleep meds, this is a great choice. Give it a few days and see how you do. My husband stopped taking any other type of sleep aids once he started magnesium.

great complex, great value for 60 day supply, wish it had more per serving tho
So I am a fan of Ann Louise Gittleman and our family takes magnesium daily and I really wanted to try her magnesium supplement. I am also a fan of getting more than one form, and this has four, each that is supposed to affect different systems of the body more. I also like that this has B6 in it to help with absorption of the magnesium. However, I do kind of feel that the amount of B6 in here is overkill, that being said, as a water soluble vitamin the unused goes right out of the body again, so it is difficult to reach toxicity. I love that there are no filler sin this too. The serving is two capsules and you get 200mg of elemental magnesium, but the label does not tell you how much of each kind it has, nor does her website have this info. The RDA is 400mg so two capsules gives you half that and hopefully you can get the other half through food. I do really wish though that the 200 could be crammed into one capsule or that two capsules would have the full RDA because I would like to take more than 200mg but having to take so many pills is such a pain. I do know that there is now a manufacturer that is making a high yield magnesium glycinate, maybe Unikey could up the mMg content by switching to using this new chelate. Anyway, on to value. For a magnesium complex that turns out to be 60 days worth of servings for one individual even if that is only 200mg a day this is a great value.
