Slide off the battery cover from the lower portion and insert AAA (2 PCS) battery (not included) to the correct polarity as marked in the battery compartment on the main (ON/OFF) unit. Use the double side adhesive tape provide to fix the main unit at the side of the door/window, then attach the bar magnet to the door frame/window frame and align it to the main unit by matching the 3-lines which marked at the front of both unit (main and magnet bar) for the purpose of contacting the main unit to the bar magnet. When the unit is turned on and the door/window is opened or if there is a break-in, the alarm will go on immediately until you switch off. To switch "ON", simply slide it to "ON", position. Switch OFF when not in use.
