can i use this item to use to washing machines at the same time ?

In reply to Y. Hamills comment, the hole in the top has to be there and is designed so there is an air brake in the system as per UK regulation. For clarification this connector V33WM is designed to fit on top of a stand pipe with the hole facing upwards (as a air break)

I understand that the hoses are angled at 135degrees so that one drain hose enters from above and one from below but what is the reason for this?

The picture is just showing that the nozzles swivel to suit whatever angle you need.

HI, what size waste is this for, 32mm or 40mm?

Hi, I picked one of these up and on the instructions it states that it is for 40mm or 1.5 inch pipe. I had to get some 3/32 rubber o-rings to stop it from dripping out of the appliance arm attachment points, i will buy another one of these but will get the o-rings with it.
