I also had one nail that was 'wavy' from side to side, due to trapping my finger in a drawer and damaging the nail plate. I took the recommended dose for 6 months and then dropped to a maintenance dose of 1 tablet per day. I do have regular manicures and have found that the 'wavy' nail has returned to its normal shape. All my nails are also a lot stronger. You may have to keep your nails quite short for a while before letting them grow to see if they have changed their habit of curving, .
