Very easy to clean very thick solid

I wouldn’t advise for older people or anyone with arthritis in wrists or have issues holding things. It’s very thick and it’s weight makes it hard to hold with one hand.

To describe, this is a heavy weight cutting board which can last a long long time. I bought this to replace my old wooden cutting board which only half the thickness and 1/3 the weight of this beautifully crafted cutting board. it stayed put on the table and will not move easily whilst you do your cutting, chopping, slicing etc. Heavy weight and non-movable is very important to me as you dont want to cut your fingers. I love it and has no hesitation to recommend it.

I actually bought these to use for plinths to stand my speaker stands on instead of granite which I have used before. For this purpose they are actually pretty good, they are nice and thick and solid, just what I needed for supporting the heavy filled Atacama speaker stands. They have a better range of bass notes than the granite plinths did if you’re interested in trying them for that purpose.The problems with them are that they are not particularly well finished, especially around the edges, a bit rough with tiny splinters, which is not good when being used for food. The other problem is that they are not quite square by a few degrees, which is very noticeable against things that are square, like the bottoms of the Atacama stands for example. It did take a bit of doing to get the spike shoes stuck in the correct place for the spikes to sit in on the bottom of the stands.They are probably a better bet being used for speaker plinths than for chopping boards I would say. I have seen much better finished bamboo chopping boards for less than half the price, albeit half as thick. They were half the price or less than granite would have been though, that is one of the reasons I bought them, also being just the right size for what I needed them for.The photos show how I have used them.

Se ve que se golpeó en el transporte ya que venía con unas astillas sueltas y un pequeño desperfecto. Sin embargo, me pareció que al cambiarla, dado el peso, se haría un gasto excesivo de recursos. Al final, me la quedé y estoy encantada. Ya ni sé nota puesto que con el uso cotidiano la tabla se va personalizando.El arañazo en madera puede ser una cicatriz que indica el servicio que está prestando;)
