How do you get the cover off to access the fixing points?

Put a small screwdriver blade to each side in turn and apply a small amount of pressure and it will ease off

So I fix things with screws and rawl plugs every day, but this seems to be a sealed unit, I.e. I can't separate the bracket to fix it to the wall.

The one I bought had top and bottom screw holes and snap caps and was easy to fit. Good luck.

Amazingly, the Amazon ad shows it being used outside. Remember to have the louvres angled down when outside and up when inside. Cheers.

Solid Vent Cover

Easy to install, I used it for my tumbledryer vent. The plastic is quite brittle and you need to be careful not to overscrew the plate or it will crack.The first I bought came with a broken grill with two of the four clips snapped off. I tried to make do but eventually ordered another to swap out the grill.The mesh is perfect for keeping out insects but I don’t recommend using with a tumbledryer. I didn’t realise the force of the air pumped out and the mesh does restrict the ventilation. Of course you can easily remove the mesh if not required.
