Outstanding Value
Many years ago the first ceramic insert taps or faucets came onto the market with an eye watering bang. They promised perfect smooth useage and no leaks plus the ability to design much more funky taps. But the cost. Oh. My. God. The cost. I remember pulling open my wallet and shelling out the thick end of two hundre quid for a fancy sounding tap that She Who Must Be Obeyed wanted with tears in my eyes.Fast forward a few years and you can get a half decent looking tap with a cermic tap insert for less than twenty quid. This one was less than thirty quid for goodness sake. So cheap its not even worth worrying about fixing a tap when it leaks.Which is the slight negative because when the old rubber seating taps leaked you simply spent 2p and changed the rubber. When the cermic tap fails chances are the easiest and cheapest solution is to replace the entire unit which isn't very environmental.Anyway, after four years of kitchen use my previous tap started to drip and rather than let it go because I work overseas I changed it ASAP. It was almost identical to this one and if I was to guess probably made in the same factory in China. So roughly you could say this should give about four to five years of uninterupted service as a guide.Build quality is pretty good to be honest. Seals are well made and the overall feel is hefty with the lever giving a smooth action. You get all the fittings needed included to fit to a standard 15mm ball isolating valve or fitting which adds to the value. To fit is simple and I took about ten minutes from start to finish. I am a marine engineer so used to messing around with pipework but I doubt that even a complete newbie would struggle for much more than 20 minutes to change out this tap.Value is outstanding. Really. Effectively, this sould cost you less than four or five quid a year if it lasts as long as my last one.Looks are subjective but I like this simple, clean modern look. Its also high enough to allow you to fill a water jug or kettle easily.Overall this is hard to knock because its so well made for so little money.

Excellent Quality Kitchen Tap with Long Warranty!
The Hapilife Single Lever Swivel Spout Kitchen Tap is fantastic! It has a sleek, modern design that fits perfectly in my kitchen, and the swivel spout makes it super convenient for reaching all areas of the sink. The single lever is smooth and easy to control for precise temperature and flow adjustments. Installation was straightforward with the UK standard fittings, and the 10-year warranty gives me confidence in its durability. Great value for a stylish, high-quality tap—highly recommend!

Good quality for price
Bought this to replace a similar tap that I’d bought from a plumbing merchant for considerably more but was of equal quality. That one lasted less than 2 years and was constantly dripping. I hope this one lasts longer but we have bad water quality so I doubt it. For the price if it lasts 2 years that’s fine. Never changed a kitchen tap before but it wasn’t too hard. Only issues were that the parts supplied didn’t quite match the instructions. Also, the one hose was right against the side of the tap where the bottom screwed in so it wouldn’t catch when I tried. Had to use an old hose from the previous tap. Also, you can’t get a spanner up into the tap to tighten the hoses but it hasn’t leaked yet with just hand pressure tightening. It looks good, well made, good quality, easy to fit, great value, can’t really moan.

Fast delivery looks luxurious.
Fast delivery. Very good quality. Looks expensive and luxurious. Have it for over 2 weeks now and loving it. Household of 7/it’s in constant use but colour has not faded. Still looking like new. Highly recommend it.

Missing seals
Installed ok but when I put the water back on and opened the tap water went everywhere at the swivel point I took out the grub screw only to find all the rings missing poor build and quality checkI had rings in the garage and I have sorted the problem but shocking to find parts missing

Fantastic value
Fantastic value for money tap! Purchased to replace a mixer that had a permanent drip. Very easy to install, only took 10 mins from start to finish after getting the old one off. Quality connectors, water flows out lovely with no flashback. Seems sturdy enough.

Nice... But!
The unit was well packaged and reasonably heavy so the build quality seems good. Installation instructions were very basic and, although I managed to work it out, there seemed to be a bit missing (the o-ring that sits UNDER the sink). The instructions also tell you to install the connecting hoses before attaching to the sink yet, if you do that, you can't get the hoses into the fixing under the sink. I had to detach one of the hoses then install and THEN re-attach the hose.Lastly, when everything was fitted and working, there is a large amount of "leakage" from the sides of the stream of water at the flow point of the tap. I am going to have to buy a little rubber "skirt" for the top of the tap so as to reduce the amount of splashing occurring from the sides of the water stream.Apart from those things, it was value for money compared to other taps of the same type. It should easily last a number of years which is sufficient as we are going to be having a new kitchen within the next three.
