Very impressed with the kit. Hard enough to not be over in 5 minutes, easy enough that my son didnt get fed up doing it. Enough gems that it kept him interested. The gems weren't particularly spread out well but that was part of the guessing game. In total there were 81 little gems in it. It does make a lot of mess bit also very easy to clean up.

My son loved this dig kit! It kept him busy for hours and he enjoyed finding the variety of little gem stones. The identification information booklet is useful and full of great facts. Great value for money!

We had the smaller version for our 4yos birthday in spring and it kept her occupied for a very long time so purchased the larger for Christmas and if got a great reaction. Extremely messy but worth it for the excitement. Good variety of gems. My negative is that a couple have broken when they're extracted - though that could just be user error or a fluke. Due to the amount of gems to find it's been a good few days of entertainment whilst being educational. Definitely recommend (you will regret your choice briefly during the clean up operation though)

This was an absolute hit with my 11 year old. It was so much fun for him to dig for the little gems. I enjoyed the shouts of joy after each and every rock was found. The size of the rocks were good enough. There were lots of varieties and no missing parts. Very educational and the mess was good as it was done in enjoyment. Would absolutely recommended and would be nice if there was more of these with different rocks to dig up.

My sons absolutely loved this set. We got two as they both really wanted gems. They were exactly the same so I don’t know if we could buy them again but they look good and were fitting for the age range. We took them to the park as they made so much mess in the house… but if you are happy with mess then these are perfect. Simply use a tray to catch all the powder as your kid will make a mess with them. The colour of the gems was good as they had a good variety of colours and there were no missing parts. It came with tools to break the gems out of the fake rock and a booklet that told the children about the gems. My sons are only 4 and 6 so I had to read this for them. It was a brilliant gift and a memory they will not forget… though it did leave a mess in the park! Oops…

Good fun but stones quite different to pictures and smaller. Only 14 not the 15 states which left my child very upset as she was searching for so long to find the final crystal and it wasn’t there.

I bought this gemstone dig kit for my 8- and 10-year-old daughters, and they absolutely loved the excavation! They had so much fun digging out the gems, and they treat the stones like real treasures. The tools are easy to use, the activity kept them entertained for a long time, and the gems are beautiful. A perfect hands-on science activity for kids. Highly recommended!

Questo gioco é molto allettante e divertente per i bambini, i miei si sono districati per quasi mezza giornata nel scavare la forma e non volevano smettere finché non fossero sicuri di aver trovato tutte le pietre. Il mio consiglio personale é di non limitarsi a fargli trovare le pietre e basta perché quello é il divertimento basico dopo il quale tutto finisce in una scatola e nel dimenticatoio. Se rimanete presenti e ad ogni pietra trovata leggerete loro la sua descrizione, come si é formata e quali particolarità ha quella specifica pietra, sembrerà loro di aver trovato un tesoro e gli resterà un ricordo di valore, un momento passato assieme a voi che non ha veramente prezzo. Consigliato.
