Q: Will one of these three sizes fit a Grainfather?

I thought the GrainFather had a basket of some sort to hold the grain while mashing? This false bottom sits on the bottom of a pot or cooler. It doesn't work well if you use direct heat on the bottom of the pot. There's not enough liquid. A false bottom that leaves a couple inches between the grain and the bottom of the pot works better for that. You'd have to measure the diameter of the GrainFather (at the bottom) to see if one would fit.

Q: Does the 12" fit the average 5 gal igloo cooler or the is the 10" better?

These do not have to fit exactly to the inside diameter of your mash tun (cooler). Mine is several inches smaller diameter than the pot and it works well.

Yes the diameters are exact sizes as mentioned.

Q: Will this work with 5.5 ss brew kettle?

It would work with anything that is the correct size on the bottom. Make sure you order the one that matches the diameter of the bottom of your brew kettle, water cooler, etc.
