Does what is says it will do
There are plenty of these sprayers at this price point and there's not much to choose between them. The only novelty with this one is the little packet of seals and o-rings you get for running repairs. Very thoughtful, but when something wears out in five years time, will I remember where I put this packet, or what it's for? The 5 litre capacity is about right for domestic use; a bigger size is a heavier weight on your shoulder. A couple of niggles, that apply to all of these: 1) the strap to sling it on your shoulder is narrow and a bit basic. And 2) the delivery tube comes out of the main tank and bends down under its own weight. Sooner or later that will kink and fail. But these are small details and apply to the competition as well.

A good solid garden sprayer
VOXON 2L Pump Action Pressure Sprayer With Pressure Release Valve, Garden SprayerVOXON 2L Pump Action Pressure SprayerI have had a few of these over the years, this is one of the better ones that I've owned. The body of the tank is made from a good solid semi transparent plastic with level indicators on the side. The handle of the sprayer appears to be quite sturdy. The pump on the top has a metal shaft where the action is easy and quite smooth. Just a few pumps bring the sprayer up to pressure, once the sprayer is at pressure it seems to hold it's pressure quite well. The adjustable nozzle is brass which is nice to see as those with a plastic nozzle never seem to spray as they should. In use I found this to be a very handy sprayer, I use it to lightly mist the flowers on my tomato plants and runner beans. You can either have it spray a jet of water or by turning the brass nozzle you can adjust it to spray a fine mist. There is a button on the trigger that allows the bottle to continue spraying without the need for you to hold the trigger down. You can easily remove the nozzle to clear any obstruction that blocks the nozzle. This is a good solid garden sprayer which gives a very fine mist, I dropped it and it just bounced off the ground without any damage so it seems quite sturdy - recommended! If you found my review helpful please click 'Yes' below, thank you.

Inexpensive, Easy to Carry Pump Sprayer
The sprayer is quick and easy to get going with - about 2 minutes from unboxing to first spray. Screw the wand onto the hose, fill the vessel, pump it up and you're away. At first I was a little disconcerted - my last sprayer had some metal parts which are all plastic in this sprayer, including the nozzle and pressure bleed valve, but the connections all seem really secure, and it works just fine with no leaks, even under lots of pressure. It also clearly keeps the cost down - this is a very good price.Filling up the sprayer is easy. Foolishly I unscrewed the pump cylinder, and tried to fill that with the spray stuff I'm using - no good! You need to screw the entire green 'top' off the body, which takes a fair bit of twisting, but makes it really simple to fill - the nice, wide aperture is fine whether you're using the tap or a jug. The stated capacity of 5l seems accurate. When you start to pump the vessel up, it feels like nothing is happening at first - but keep going for the recommended 25 strokes of the built-in pump, and slowly you feel the resistance building up. You can twist the pump handle to lock it in place when you're done, which then makes a convenient carry handle in addition to the nylon shoulder strap. There are also little clips which securely hold the wand and hose, keeping everything tidy when you're not actively using the sprayer.By tightening and loosening the nozzle on the tip of the wand, you can vary the spray from a very fine mist to a surprisingly-powerful needle blast. The 'mist' is fairly fine, just right for watering and feeding, maybe just a little short of what would be ideal for weed spraying. Increasing the pressure a little may help. It can be quite difficult to get the nozzle setting just right - the difference in 'tightness' from fine mist to full needle is a bit slight. But once you've got it dialed in, you're away. There is a 'trigger' located in the handgrip which engages the spray - this is spring-loaded to allow for short bursts, but also has a slide-to-lock feature for when you're spraying larger areas. There is also a neat little pressure bleed valve which you can lift to release pressure (if you need to refill, or if you get finished your job and there's still pressure inside). I imagine this probably also serves as a pressure release if you over-pump the vessel.Although the 5 litre vessel is quite small, it's not bad for watering and weedkilling if you're not dealing with a large area. It also means that you're lugging less liquid about at any time, making it a bit easier on the shoulders and back. The sprayer also came with spare o-rings and pressure seals, which is a nice touch for a budget item.I received this sprayer free of charge in exchange for this unbiased review, and was glad of the opportunity as I need to spray a patch of weeds out at the back of the church! It's good value for the money, and I would have been happy with the purchase if I had paid full price.

Awkward to use
Bought to spray Bordeaux mixture on fruit trees etc. The sprayer came well appointed with spare washers, and the spray action and spray adjustment is as good as others, and it looks as though it will be easy to clean as well. However a serious drawback is that the attachment of the pump to the tank is poor. When pumping up it does not feel firm, and when fully charged the handle does not attach securely to the tank and it easily comes off when moved. Bearing in mind that one has to re-pump fairly frequently as the tank begins to empty, this is not good. Incicdentally It is NOT a knapsack sprayer as these are pumped up by way of a side handle. This cannot be pumped up if the assembly if worn. I did not buy it as a knapsack sprayer, the low rating relates solely to the pump action. And for goodness' sake what is meant by "sheerness" in your ratings table?

Don’t buy one of these
I bought one of these and after using it 5 or 6 times it sprang a leak in the pressure vessel, so weed killer spraying out everywhere. So in the bin with that. Poor quality.
