Good for helping people who suffer with physical pain or discomfort
This product is ideal for anyone who finds it uncomfortable to sit and work at a normal table. It allows them to work without having to lean forward. The legs fit nicely under a sofa. Can be used to work on and to eat at. Only improvement could be that it could be made that you could adjust the width as it can be too wide to fit under certain seats

Actually made me laugh - but you definitely get what you pay for!
Well, I'd read other reviews that warned of this product's flimsiness but with alternatives costing more in the region of £50-£60 I decided to give it a go anyway. There's a small amount of self-assembly which is very easy to work out which is just as well as the 'instructions' which came with it were so badly photocopied that it was totally unreadable. The quality is really poor and the white paint on the legs flaked off the first time I used it.The table-top has 3 positions, sadly none of them flat! They range from: slanted, very slanted and one that actually slants away from you! You also really have to keep an eye on it as the small wire hook that keeps it in place moves from side to side.Oh, and 'Folds flat for handy storage' means you can take the legs off if you want! All of this said I have been able to use it whilst sitting on my small sofa as a laptop table. It tucks in really closely and is comfortable to use. Whether I'd use it for this purpose if I didn't have my own lap as a backup support is another matter. I would suggest that if you want it for reading or that kind of purpose it's fine - but I really wouldn't put anything heavy or hot on it!For the price and my purpose it's fine and the 'SIMILAR TO as seen on TV' sticker really did make me laugh out loud!

Top too bendy. Not designed to take much weight
Pretty tacky and when put together easy to knock weight bearing metal bar out of adjustment grooves so it collapses with everything on it landing on floor. Support Bar has been cut too short lengthwise so only just fits in holding groove. Won't take much weight off centre without plastic top bending right over to other side. Just holds together and frankly really didn't cost very much so am not returning but AM being very, very careful! Good point is it does slide nicely under furniture but again, be very careful moving it if you have placed items on the top.

Wire stay holding table top very flimsy, jumps out off sockets, can be a problem
Holding laptop, does the job but not very robust.

old stock
Comes in an old stock box, plastic clips that attach it to the bar are very brittle , like when plastic gets old, one clip broke just attaching it, not the greatest product, when top folds down the whole thing falls over.

Don't buy.
The "Table" slants towards you. The image where she is sat down miss represents it in my opinion. If you want this for eating as the information advises don't get it, as this would not be safe. As multiple people took apart and put it together it became apparent the holes were drilled incorrectly to give a flat level surface, suitable for an OAP to use as a table. I have been told myself and the two other people who tried putting it together following instructions were incorrect and there was no fault with the product, (Bearing in mind there are four bits to put together, I would disagree, but there is no way to prove either way). Customer service from the seller afterwards was polite in their responses. However, as mentioned they deemed the product not faulty and I was left with a return postage bill that cost more than the item with little empathy or understanding that I would clearly not return something at additional cost had to not been faulty. There was no reference to my query regarding the next steps available to deal with this in their latest email. Fortunately Amazon have since dealt with this.
