I tend not to write review for products, because what works for me - won't always work for other people. But I feel so strongly about this balm - if this can help someone, anyone else then I will put my story here.I developed Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling) after a very stressful period at university and have been trying to manage it for many years. The behaviour results in subconsciously ruining my beard every time I become anxious.After many of years of trying to understand why this happens, I have have learnt that when I'm stressed/anxious I like to stroke my beard in thought in an attempt to calm my thoughts. The trigger point for the pulling behaviour seems to be me finding some sort of irritation under the beard, which then leads me to focusing on one spot, then leads to finding 'odd feeling' hairs, then the pulling behaviour, to then finding more odd hairs, to the eventual bald spot and then finally the sad of process of shaving the beard off and waiting for it to all grow back and starting again.I have tried a range of things like fiddle toys, rings - trying to keep my hands busy, but they didn't always seem to work or they weren't always around.Enter Seven Potions.I have been using this product now for two months - my beard is as thick as it ever has been and it has allow me to get on top of my Trichotillomania.Why I think this product works so well for me:1) The irritation on my skin (I have very sensitive skin) and beardruff are a thing of the past.2) It has smoothed out my beard and changed the texture to the extent I am aware of when I'm stroking it and it has removed the prominence of the odd feeling hairs so it has killed the pulling behaviour.3) It smells really good and its made all natural products.I cannot recommend this product enough. If you are struggling with Trichotillomania and your beard is taking an hammering, this could just be the trick for you.

I was looking to make my beard softer and more manageable. The shampoo smells lovely and makes a nice lather from not a lot of product. It took one wash for my beard to feel softer. Combine that with the beard balm and each day your beard gets lovely, soft and supple. It does a very good job at keeping your beard in place while making it look healthy and soft. Great products, will definitely buying again.

This stuff is great at conditioning your beard. It feels great after I've used it. If I had my choice, I'd not have the wax in, even though it's only a small amount, as it does negate the softening benefits by making your beard slightly stiff, but some people will like that element. Smells great light and fresh and citrusy, but that's just an opinion, smell is so subjective.

Have tried quite a few beard balms recently and was concerned this would be quite hard to apply if that makes sense, as others I have had are quite hard until well warmed - though I am glad to confirm that this stuff feels and looks like melts in the hand therefore easily absorbs into your beard. Great smell (woodland harmony purchased) Though I am going to give the citrus version a try on next purchase for a fresher whiff and include the oil too :)Overall, not cheap but a good product and you get what you pay for. Would recommend.

So I saw online that this company had great reviews about its softness and scent, especially the woodland variant. I decided to go for the citrus version as my OH loves citrus scents. When you open the balm, the smell of lemon is brilliant, just what I was hoping for. But as soon as you disturb the product and put in on your finger/palm it turns straight to the sandalwood smell. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of sandalwood so I wasn't too thrilled, but used it anyway as it was the only balm I had. The hold was decent, not the best I've ever had but nothing to complain about. It does last all day, even after a labour intensive day at work, and does really soften your beard hair. Plus, it has drastically reduced my beard dandruff to the point where I don't even notice any anymore. So overall it's not a bad product, plus it is a bigger pot than standard so it lasts a while. Good for softness, hydration and lasting effect, not so good for hold and scent imo. I may try the woodland variant next to see if that scent is better.

Absolutely astounded by this product, I was looking for a brand that was affordable, worked well and helped condition my beard, and oh boy does this deliver.After trying a few shop bought balms and oils and having them ruin my beard I turned to the internet and discovered seven potions and I wont be leaving any time soon, Supporting a small business within my country and having a great looking/smelling beard that has my wifes approval, new long term customer, Keep up the great work.Also nice to support a beard company within my country so, Customer for life made here

I have been using this with some beard oil as part of my lockdown beard routine and it has been a great product to use. Easy to apply, with a nice fresh but not too strong scent, I have mostly managed to keep the beard soft and under control. Perhaps not quite strong enough to hold my wayward moustache in place but this is not intended for that type of situation anyway. A highly recommended beard balm!

Definitely one of the best beard balls out there in terms of quality. I hunted Amazon for quite a while to find the best one (my favourite is actually Camden Co beard balm but this seems to be discontinued from Amazon which is a shame). This one is a great alternative and feels like the ingredients are expensive. Although the hold isn’t great it does condition the beard nicely and smells wonderful without being overpowering.

Smooth as butter

I wanted something to soften and tame my beard. This, along with a beard brush, helps to tame the wild hairs and it has a nice scent. Does less to soften my beard than I expected but for that I suppose I should get a beard conditioner. Overall I like this product and the scent is pleasant and not overwhelming.

The scent is not really in my taste. but this is a personal preference I guess.Otherwise it does the job.

Das Produkt gefällt mir gut. Der Geruch entspricht meinen Erwartungen. Die Haptik ist auch ok. Eine wunderschöne Dose, die mit zur Kaufentscheidung beigetragen hat.Aber! Und hier kommen jetzt die nur drei Sterne zur Erkennung: Die wunderschöne Dose wurde optimal in einem stabilen gelben Umkarton verpackt und dieser, damit keine Fettflecken unterwegs entstehen können, mit einer Kunststofffolie sicher umhüllt. Soweit alles bestens. Das wären volle fünf Sterne geworden; aber leider wurde dieser kleine Karton mit einem Uli-Stein-Kalender zusammen in einem ca. 60 Zentimeter großen Umkarton versandt. Es lagen zwar einige ungeknüllte Papierbahnen im Karton, welche aber nicht verhindern konnten, dass die Beard-Balm-Dose im Versandkarton während ihres Transportes dem freien Fall ausgesetzt war und daher, bei intaktem Umkarton, eine hässliche Delle im Dosenrand bekam und nicht mehr dicht schloss. Die Kunststoffumhüllung hat glücklicherweise verhindert, dass Fett auf den Uli-Stein-Kalender überging. Der gelbe Umkarton der Dose hat eine Macke an einer Ecke und die Schönheit der Dose ist ruiniert. Hätte man die Dose für den Transport im Versandkarton nicht sichern können? Jedenfalls bin ich angesäuert, da diese Dose im Badbereich die Blicke auf sich ziehen sollte.Also für die Zukunft: Unversehrte Dose = leuchtende Fünf Sterne

Sicuramente un prodotto che acquisterò nuovamente. Profumo buono e delicato (ricorda un pò il lemon grass). Si applica con facilità. 4 stelle e non 5 perchè non è economico e rimane un po' oleoso quando si apre e si chiude (ma vi assicuro che la confezione non perde il contenuto).
