A great lens hood
I do not know why there are such negative reviews for this lens hood. Firstly it does fit the Canon 55-250 mm EF-S IS II lens that I have, attaching and detaching easily with a UV filter fitted. Apart from the noticeable reduction in "flare" on the photographs, it also provides valuable protection against accidental knocks and bumps whilst fitted to the camera. I will get another at the drop of the hat if I need to. Great value as well.

Bought a new lens
Bought a new lense for my holidays was in a bright 3nviroment so needed a lense hood to help with the brightness excellent value for money fits as above (cannon ) well made good quality plastic not cheap and flimsy and works well got some good holiday photos

Good fit for Canon
Fits my Canon lens nicely. Only downside is that if you drop it on a hard floor it may break. The price is perfect so I bought a replacement.

Does the job for a zoom lens
Fits the Canon lens well, is robust in design and larger size allows for more effective use with zoom lens.Used it with a wide angle lens too - but once you get wide-angle the lens hood appears in the corners of the pictures! So better for zoom lens but pretty acceptable with other lenses too. Ok if you don't need to use wide angle! (which of course it was never meant for - but as it fits both then why not!)Arrived and packaged just fine and what came looked like what I ordered so cannot complain :)

I have had this ET-60 Lens Hood for about 2 months now and is great for protecting my canon EF 75-300mm lens from the elements as I am outdoors in all type of weather especially at this time of freakish British atmosphere and it also protects the front portion of my lens from water, dust, and scratches as I may be walking around trees, people, stage equipment & wall corner's trying to get the best shot that I can, plus it does Fits securely over the lens; even though it is not a canon make. Also much cheaper than the Canon make. I would recommend this buy to anyone who is looking for ET-60 Hood, for their Canon EF 75-300mm.
