Product as described, delivered on time and fair price. Impossible to find in the supermarket eg. Tesco, Sainsbury, Waitrose. Really good to sprinkle on burgers for a proper BBQ flavour, a potato salad or added to chilli con carne.

Some people are naturally against the idea of adding smokiness to food by use of products such as this, and normally I would agree that it's always better to be as natural and pure as you can when trying to create authentic dishes - that being said though, let's face it, we don't all have smokers in our homes and gardens, and we don't all have time to use one even if we did. Therefore this is an incredibly useful alternative, and one that having now had chance to experiment with I can highly recommend to fellow cooks searching for those deep american smokey flavourings.Too much of this stuff will be OTT, you only need a tea spoon or a few drops here and there. I recently used it in a superb authentic whiskey pulled pork recipe I got from an American cookbook, and wow it was sensational, and the smokiness was quite evident with every mouthful.It's super convenient to have this in your cupboard, so go on, give it a go why don't you.

Was a bit nervous about this one, YouTube "master cooks" would make you belive you need a huge outdoors wooden smoker and to slow cook a item for 18 hours to get a smoke taste. I live in a flat, 1st floor flat with no garden to get a expensive smoker, so it's a no from me Mr Southern American accent cook with 100 subs telling me to get my smoker going.This stuff is a miracle in a bottle. Obviously, despite my joke attack at outdoor wood smokers, they would do a stronger taste than a £6 bottle. But this is still, so close. Closer than my oven alone would do and much more than I could of expected.I'll add this to anything, cooking mince for tacos, splash this first. Chicken for a roast dinner, splash. Stir fry a vegetable noodle dish, splash.This adds what you can only call, a smoky hint while still letting the base ingredient to still come through. Not overpowering if you only use a spash(as listed on bottle). I've not tried to use a whole lot but could see it being to overpowering if used that way. See this as something you'd use like salt or pepper, a little is all that's needed to taste.It's a good marinade addition or something to just throw in as you cook.My dishes have come alive too new flavour level that I'd thought never get. Worth trying

I purchased this liquid smoke so that I could make my own seitan and this liquid smoke in particular was recommended by almost everyone I have spoke to about making seitan and what gives it a great flavour. Not only did it enhance other flavours that I added to the seitan but it also adds a beautiful smokey flavour so I would recommend this myself. When using this you don’t need a lot at all so for how much you will actually use within the BBE date the price point is great. I will 100% be buying this once the bottle is finished. I have to add, I did not purchase anything else from amazon so the bottle of liquid smoke was the only thing to be delivered but when I opened my package I was greeted with this little bunch of goodies which I am so excited to eat and very appreciated to have received. So to whoever added these to my delivery, THANK YOU!

I love this product. There are several different flavours and I have tried them all. I have no favourite. Using a very small amount I can give a marvellous smokiness to Baked Beans, pulled pork, chicken and beef. I even mix a small amount with panko breadcrumbs to coat home made fish fingers etc. Try putting a dash into a tempura batter. A teeny amount to grilled tomatoes. Just be careful, you do only need a small amount and that is my only beef with Stubbs liquid smoke. I would like a more accurate method of applying the small amounts. As it is, I transfer this to a dropper bottle - because that is all you need often - a drop. This comes out as a flowing liquid and it is all too easy to add to much. Before I had the idea of transferring it to a dropper, I had to pour an amount into the lid and carefully pour it from the lid onto the food I wished to flavour. So, as I say, I love this product but dropping it one star because of the bottle. Don't let that put you off though. It was also a brilliant price when I bought it and £4.00 cheaper than its brothers.

I would say this is the best I have ever used. I am never 70 yrs old. most make me burp it up all night but this one didn't. The taste is great. There are times when it's raining outside and you can't bqq, and you don't want to go out in the rain to a restaurant. You just want bqq. This will work, I tried this one a week days ago because they didn't have the one I usually get and I hadn't tried this one. But I think this one will become my first choice from now on.
