Dear, this is a strong plastic handle with some metal part reinforced.

Q: Is there a light inside?

Dear, there is a sensor light inside of the safe. It would last for 20 seconds for your each opening. Perfect for your night use.

Q: Does the locking mechanism use a nickel solenoid? I have read that someone could use a neodymium magnet to open certain safes.

Dear customer, it uses the solenoid, but the technical has been improved in recent years. It can not be open by the neodymium magnet.

Q: How are the fingerprints stored, as in, is there anything that can make it lose it's fingerprint memory, like a dead battery?

Dear customer,it can store up to 30 fingerprints. Since it has a memory chip in the management board, if the safe is out of battery, it will still remember your code and registered fingerprint.
