I’ve used G3 & G10 polishes for some years. Finally my painting & prep is up to the finish provided by these products. The G3 will remove scratches produced by 1500 grit paper so for best results the surface should be prepped with this grade prior to use. G3 is a cutting compound so it is a base for a finishing polish or polishes.

I came across this when a mechanic accidentally let my car roll into a wheelie bin leaving a few scratches on the bumper.He soon enough brought out this G3 stuff and I says to the guys that I gotta get this.They dismissed me saying it wasn't available in shops, hahaa, so I says I will look up the internet.Just used it this morning with nothing more than some rag cloth and G3 itself.It is brilliant.Like your own skin a car's body is made up of many layers to prevent rust.If the chip isn't too deep this stuff will renew the body.If is just a scratch or two, you won't notice it is there.I am giving this a four star because if I really was a pro I would've followed instructions to the letter to get the best out of G3 to see if it made any difference to even deeper scratches.Recommended for minor knocks and bumps or vandal like scratches but not dents.
