Works as it should, as good as the original

Always best to have a spare battery for the camera when travelling. Arrived perfectly and on time.

After some of the negative reviews I was very apprehensive about ordering this battery, and it was only the security of Amazon's outstanding Returns policy which convinced me to at least give it a try. The size and weight match my original battery and there is only a very minor difference in the labelling. After giving it an 80% charge my Sony CX5100 Camera has worked perfectly with the battery losing 1% per day on standby, so those negative reviews are a tad confusing. The full RRP is ridiculous which makes this Amazon price far more acceptable, although it's still too high for what it is.

Just finished putting this battery to the test and it is totally compatible with my Sony a35 camera. The battery life is superb and of course very easy to install. This was great value for money as other places I looked at were charging nearly £10 more.

Not much more to say, these are great and last long. Considering how expensive cameras can be I wouldn't want to risk putting a 3party battery in it!

Great battery, it is a feuine Sony battery and as expected performs very well. It does seem to be expensive for a battery but the price on amazon is cheaper that others I have seen. Really happy with it regardless, definitely worth buying original batteries instead of other brands

This battery has been behaving oddly. Took a few charges to start showing a charge above 78% and seems to discharge faster than the one that came with the camera. May be old stock? At the price I cant be bothered to test it more formally

All the reviews I've seen about Sony NEX5KS Alpha Compact System Camera - 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 OSS Lens - Black said that it had poor battery performance. Thus, I've got this one to avoid losing those moments that won't happen again. Fact is that (even at -12ºC) I didn't had to use this spare battery that much, since, as I've said, the one that came with the camera lasted quite well for my use. But, I'm pretty sure I'll use this one in my next trip. So, in all, it's a great product, but, in my case, it was not that much use.

I bought this product as a substitue for the one shown on the infomercial that is playing on TV every day now. My main concern was if the 2 sets of outlets would fold all the way to the left or right so that plugs could be connected from the side. Every picture I could find only has them turned 45 degrees and never the full 90. I've happy to report that the do turn turn the full 90 degrees and with surge protection built in, it is exactly the product I was looking for.
