Dexam Plastic Double Sided Plain/Crinkle Round Cookie Cutters, Set of 6,Multicoloured

I am absolutely delighted with these brightly coloured pastry cutters that are contained within their own plastic pot. You get a total of 6 different sizes where you can either use the frilly or straight end depending on what you are baking / the look you wish to create. They cut through pastry like a knife through butter, plus are also excellent for creating multiple uniformed sizes of florentines - especially when all the mixture flows into one mega florentine on the baking sheet which frequently happens to me!. Great value for money, dishwasher safe, and no nooks and crannies for pastry, etc to get stuck in as with the old metal cutters. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product - and for £4.25 it can also be given as a very nice pop in present for Birthdays or Christmas.

After a lifetime of using metal cutters, the switch to plastic was... painless and long overdue.These are particularly good because of the nifty way that they fit into their plastic case. And the fact that your dishwasher can wash them (top rack - I wouldn't try exposing them to bottom rack intensity).As for using them, they really are better than expected. You can flour them, just like metal cutters. You can use the crinkly or the plain side. They don't have an annoying rim for mix to get stuck in. (There is a slight 'ledge' but it's very easy to clean off while you're working - or in the dishwasher afterwards.)Ooh, and, if you stack them one way up, you can lift them all up by picking the middle one up. This is definitely the way to put them into their case, because you've less chance of one falling out if you tip it. Yes, they all fall out in one go, but that's rather easier to manage than half a dozen separate cutters bowling all over the place.

These are fun and practical and come at a very reasonable price. They are colourful and give a great choice of sizes. They're crinked on one side and plain on the other so they can be used for scones, cookies etc. I would recommend them.

Having needed some cutters for some time, I came across these and decided to give them a try. I chose these for their double sided functionality and varying sizes, as well as the appealing price tag. These are very sharp cutters for being plastic, which I think is great especially when cutting out scones, which is what I used them for earlier. They cut well, however if the dough is very sticky the shape of the crinkles is lost, however that is to be expected. They came in a different variation of colours than shown, with the largest to smallest cutters being orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and red; not that this is an issue! The only gripe with these is that the crinkles are quite difficult to clean, however I'm sure this isn't only an issue with this brand of crinkle cutters. Fabulous for anyone who loves to bake and needs some cutters, especially as they come with their own case!

The set of pastry / scone cutters is great, better than just white or metal because you can select which colour you usually use at a glance as opposed to looking at the size or guessing which is the one you want. It also comes in a very handy case so they are all kept together, the others available are loose and thus keeping then together easily is a chore these are conveniently and easily stored.

Absolutely perfect for cutting pastry. Used these for mince pies at Christmas. Bright colours are a nice change and especially for young children when helping in the kitchen. Great range of sizes with scalloped or straight edges for varying effects.All packed nicely in a plastic tub to keep them together. They all sit inside each other and hold together when picked up. Definitely worth a buy.
