This was an absolutely brilliant purchase. I have always wanted to learn to crochet (am already a knitter) and during lockdown I finally taught myself from youtube videos. I stuck to basics and have made tons and tons of little granny squares (3 rounds each). This pack was THE BEST, for the following reasons:1. I got EXACTLY the colours shown in the picture (no nasty surprises)2. The yarn quality is exceptional - much better than normal double knit. It is soft and thick, creating luscious, firm stitches. The colours are vibrant and rich (not acidic)3. The huge range of colours meant that it was fun to mix and match colours and experiment with different combinations that I wouldn't normally have tried.4. Even though the balls are tiny, there is enough yarn in the whole pack to create tons of 3-round granny squares. I'm probably just over halfway through my pack and I've made 33 so far.As soon as this comes back into availability I will be buying another one. Brilliant value.EDIT: 1 week later and I’ve used up the yarn with just scraps left. I made 54 3-round granny squares in total. It would make a good baby blanket. Now I’ve just got to sew them together!ANOTHER WEEK LATER: Have now sewn them together with a mid-grey DK yarn. The finished result is baby-blanket size (would be a great pram or car blanket).

People complaining about skein size should read the description : “24 MINI Skeins”.These are great for beginners to try out knitting or crochet, in several colours. For the price, you can complete a small project.Is it quality yarn? Not really, but it is practice yarn and definitely good enough for that.

Received very quickly, small balls of yarn but great variety also came with two crochet hooks and two large needles and the links to two ebooks which look. Can't wait to start learning!

Good product but didn’t get the links to the free pdfs in any of my emails, as a beginner it’s a bit disappointing as I now how to search for patterns online and watch YouTube videos

So happy with purchase. Again a Mira product will that will thrill my great granddaughter who loves the colours and helpful e books.Mira Customer Service is second to none. So very helpful and friendly when advice was needed for another great product.The wool is a selection of lovely colours, very appealing and soft.I can’t wait to see her face at Christmas. love the texture of the yarn and lovely colours, however, these 10g are not good to do small granny sqaure like if you want a double of the same colour rows, as you run out of yarn, be great if they sold these in larger quantities like yarn size 25g or 50g, but sadly 10g is just not enough!! I love the yarn it's self, just not enough for the project I was doing for a 3yr old. I got out of 10g of yarn 153Dc & 36sc of the light blue.

I was very pleased with this product. It arrived on time, well packaged, and consists of a pack of small, colourful balls of wool, all different, bright shades, some variegated, and also 2 crochet hooks. With the email I was sent to advise me of delivery, there were also 3 links to downloads of three books, an introduction to crochet, simple patterns for crocheted items and also, simple projects to do with the yarn. All three books,were of approx 100 pages. I thought it was very good value and I would certainly order from this,supplier again.
