Review: The thing that should not be - but it works so well! - The kings of metal teaming up with a symphony orchestra should not work on paper but in reality the orchestra and arrangements breathe new life into the material performed at this show. James, Kirk, Lars and Jason are all on top form and the orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen are magnificent. The set list is good but I would have liked to have heard a couple of songs from AJFA played but I won't complain when the selected songs are played so well. Highly reccomended!

what an amazing dvd Metallica at their best with a wonderful orchestra . Playing new and old favourites this is a must for fans. I cannot praise this enough. On the opening piece ectasiy of Gold by the late great Ennio Morriconne it was perfection all the way, so much so I have ordered Ennio Morriconne s concert dvd . Enjoy
