Maybelline New York, Volume Mascara, Lash Sensational, Colour: Very Black, 9.5 mL

When I first saw the colour I thought it might be a bit bright, it looks like a burgundy brown. But I’ve put it on today and it’s lovely! It’s like a dark brown on my lashes and looks the same colour as my hair. I do have blue eyes and dark brown hair. Really pleased! I’m 50 and wanted something a bit gentler than black, and this really works. It also makes my eyelashes separated and long, no clumping either! ☺️

Absolutely love this mascara!Maybelline Cils Sensational Extra Black has become my go-to. It doesn’t smudge at all, even after a long day. It separates the lashes beautifully, adds noticeable length, and gives a bold, intense black finish that really makes the eyes pop. Great mascara, but a quick tip for best resultsI really love this mascara — it’s super effective and gives my lashes nice volume and definition. That said, I gave it four stars because, in my experience, any mascara on the market really needs a metal eyelash curler to achieve that beautiful curved effect.Genetically, my lashes are very straight, so I always use a metal curler before applying mascara. This step makes a huge difference in the final look. I’d recommend this to anyone like me who struggles with straight lashes!Overall, a fantastic product, just remember to curl first for the best results.

I am loving this mascara, my first time trying it. It elongates my lashes nicely and doesn't clump too much (there has been the odd bit here and there but nothing major).I find most waterproof mascaras difficult to remove due to my very sensitive skin/eyes. This one, however, removes easily! I use Tropic Cleanser all over my face and just pat a little over my lashes. Then I clean my face and use one bio Simple wipe between finger and thumb, to very gently rub my lashes between them. I've found that this removes all traces of the mascara. After using this cleansing method for the past couple of weeks, I have yet to wake with panda eyes.And, of course, I have long lush lashes during the day! That's a win-win in my book, hence 5 stars. Highly recommended.

I have made several purchases of this mascara and am very happy with it.For some reason Max Factor decided to discontinue their false lash effect mascara and this is the nearest mascara to that I could find.Reasonably priced.

The mascara itself is lovely, the brush makes it super easy to avoid clumping, the colour is rich and it has a great lengthening effect, even with one coat.However the sticker that is usually used to seal the product came stuck to the lid. While the mascara didn’t *look* used, it still made me a little uncomfortable. I would 100% buy this again, but not from Amazon.
