Wonderful pictures and not too long
I now have all the Ten Little ********books, and have prepared many worksheets and pictures for my second language school pupils. I tried this story last week for the first time, and the children loved it! They joined in with the easy words like Splash! Whooosh! Snap! And they were very amused at Coo-ee! For the older pupils they can read some of the script as well. I was lucky to find some small drawings of pirate things for them to colour in afterwards. The children enjoyed the story so much that they stayed in at break-time to finish! I think that some of the other stories were a bit longer, and the pictures a bit “busy”, but this one was absolutely brilliant! I cannot say for which age they are suited, because they are mixed age and ability primary school pupils, so they range from eight to eleven years.

Pirate - tastic Board Book ☠️
This is another great book in the ‘Ten Little...’ range and is ideal for teaching children numbers 1 - 10. There are ten little pirates at the beginning of the story, on each page one gets taken away. For example "Nine little Pirates searching for their mate. Zap! goes the lightning - now there are .... eight". All the pirates are washed up to an Island together at the end.Numbers are written out in the text but also in number form on each page, therefore giving lots of opportunities for children to practice the numbers. The book is really fun to read as it uses a lot of rhyming words. The cartoon images on each page are beautiful, eye-catching, bright and colourful. This book is a massive hit with my daughter. A 5⭐️ read.

Perfect Pirate Adventure for Little Ones!
I picked up the "Ten Little Pirates" board book for my toddler, and it's become an instant favorite in our house. The vibrant illustrations and rhyming story make it a captivating read for little explorers. My child loves counting the pirates and joining in the adventure. It's not just a bedtime story; it's an interactive experience. Plus, the sturdy board book is perfect for small hands and can withstand some rough handling. If you're looking for a delightful and educational book for your little swashbucklers, this one's a treasure!

Another great book in the series
These books manage to engage both of my children (3&5) and it has for the last few years. The book is well made, it is a board book and can stand up to the violence that my 3 year old exhibits especially. The pages are tough and durable so he can’t rip anything. The book has helped me teach them about numbers as the story is centred around 10 pirates.Value for money is great. This book has been passed down and is still well loved and in excellent condition. Would make a lovely gift for a pirate lover!

Great Book, but 10 Little Dinos is better
We bought 10 Little Dinosaurs which my daughter loved, so bought this one too.It is good, but I prefer the dinos. Many of the rhymes are the same/similar as the dinos book, just tweaked for pirates. The graphics are great, and it is easy to rhyme along emphatically to tell a nice little story. Overall a great book for the collection - 10 Little Dinosaurs / Pirates / Monsters are all our favourites of the series.

Another 10 Little Smasher of a book
A smashing little book.Robust. Hardy enough for little hands to turn without too much chance of damageIt is Well made.A great little story in which the child can participate. Roaring and arrring as wanted. Will be easy to “read a long” with a child because of the rhyming storylineEducational. Counting.Good clear print with nice colourful pictures. The pages are a good size, nice and thick.Easy for my grand-daughter to turn the pages for herself.Overall, A tad pricey at Amazon’s RRP but delivery included for prime members takes the sting away.A great kids book in the “10 little ???” series.
