So awesome that I bought another one
This monitor is just really really really great.Lets start where I started with my monitor purchasing journey:The problem with the retail stores such as Currys, is that they overprice the worst monitors available on the market (For example, some 900p AOC monitor with no on screen settings with a horrible washed out panel), so you see that on display and think 'Wow that's bad', but it costs about £70-80. And then they show some average monitors for about £100 which are larger, but have shocking build quality, and as a student who is studying product design, nothing can make me cringe quite like a £100 Acer monitor with cheap gloss black plastic and a shoddy stand. So when someone on my course said you can't buy better than a BenQ, I have to admit, I didn't know who they were. The design online looked really promising, sleek, minimal and matte plastic. And the price was super tempting, 1080p and 22inch for £82?Basically I bought one, was absolutely astounded by the build quality, just really really great, best I've owned as far as TV's or monitors go. No creaking or anything, no compromises compared to any other brand (LG appear to be the worst for build quality with cheaper models). And shortly after, I just knew I had to buy another one to enhance my user experience with my PC.Not sure what else to say except, just buy it! Colours are great, PC gaming is great, low blue light option is fantastic, something I thought I'd never use but it really helps with eye strain in dimly lit rooms.

A great piece of kit
Love this monitor. It's a lovely size, it has excellent colour reproduction and there is no dark/bright spots on it. The bezel is slim and unobtrusive, and the built in speaker isn't half bad either. I purchased this display to connect to my laptop as the laptop screen was small and fairly low-res. I'd mainly use my computer for research purposes and of course media consumption. This monitor is nothing short of a delight to use.If you're in the market for a budget-friendly display without a ridiculous price-tag, this is a superb choice. I tend to use it as an external monitor for my laptop for research purposes and occasional media consumption. Video is smooth and I have no problem using it for multiple hours at a time. BenQ have really outdone themselves with this product. If you're on the fence about buying this screen, rest assured you will not be disappointed if you go for it. I can't imagine any other screen coming close for the price. The fact that it's got a built-in speaker is also a bonus. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Thanks Benq and also Amazon for the crazy quick delivery times. Happy viewing!

Excellent monitor but the product description has a couple of lies...
I've only just set these up so I can't say much for them in the long run, but initially I can say that the image is beautiful, colours seem sharp and vibrant, and the speakers are surprisingly good for in-built, I could happily use them for just general use (though I'd definitely still go headphones or speakers for the more epic moments in life). The only reasons I'm not giving this 5 stars are these - on this product it says that HDMI cable is "optionally" included. But it's not an option, so I've had 2 HDMI "style" monitors arrive without the proper cable. Temporary solution found, but I found that a bit surprising, as nowhere does it give a specific option to get the cable included that you intend to use. My only other complaint, and this one is a bit more major, in the details on this product when comparing with others, it states this has a built in camera. This is entirely false. While the actual monitor is still excellent for it's price, it's definitely still a bit of a stab when you realise you were falsely advertised to.

Bang For Buck...
For A £100 monitor you cant expect anything higher 60hz refresh rates, but you can expect great picture quality with this BenQ monitorSound Card: Usefull and a very nice addition to the monitor, this is very handy if you have more than one system connected to the monitor.Hdmi ports: Having 2 Hdmi ports on a monitor is a must have with setups nowadays. Even if your setup doesnt have 2 systems plug in for instance a Ps And or a Xbox.Blue light: Having this feature in the software is nice if you plan on having a gaming marathon just before bed or you have forgotten that essay you have to hand in tomorrow. There is a significant difference between bluelight and normal and you eyes will thank you!Software: the software in the monitor is simple and in depth allowing you to change brightness, gamma contrast and many more.Switching between hdmi’s is easy and quickThe actual moniter: The monitor was easy to setup taking about 5-10 mins. However when you have set it up you will notice a medium amount of shaking if you move desk or hit by accident. Its design is slimming although it is on the thicker side.Overall it’s probably the best monitor for £100 on the market being great for gaming and movie watching. I would totally recommend
