This is not designed for the Silhouette Curio. When using the Curio, you should use the Silhouette Curio cutting mats.

Not wipe clean but if it's lost its sticky you can always spray it with a little repositionable adhesive

is this mat suitable for fabric? or is there there a mat specifically for fabric?

Ironically - the first ever video I ever watched on the silhouette said "de-tack your mat" (otherwise it's so sticky that card / paper will rip when being taken off) so sticking fabric on is perfect for detacking a very sticy mat. Anyway - the only times I have cut fabric is with interfacing ironed on to help stiffen it and using a fabric blade. If you use fabric directly onto a brand new mat - be prepared that it will stick really well but it will also remove lots of fibres and make the mat less sticky. I have about 4 silhouette mats - all for different materials. (Acetate / card / paper / vinyl) All labelled, not to be mixed up....
