Does exactly what it is supposed to, i do wish however that an instruction manual would be included as although there are few features not all of them are explained one of which being the wheel on the back which is used to tighten the ball socket so the phone does not sag. This lack of instruction has lead to many reviews where the customer has said the product is faulty as it cannot hold the phone. It does however hold my s6 edge with case very well and the vent insert is quite tight and i cant imagine it coming out. I would be aware that it will cause the vent to point downwards due to its weight so it will have to be angled upward to counteract this or the vent fixed in place. Good product, i have had no issues with its performance, would recommend. ### ⭐ Doesn't hold phone securely and doesn't maintain a fixed position *by B***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 June 2017* As others have said, the attachment for attaching the phone holder to the air vent grills seems to be very secure. However the ball joint used to angle and position the holder does not maintain its' position even when tightened fully, so the mount moves around. Added to that the rubber 'grips' (I have to use that term loosely) that are intended to grip your phone securely on each side do no such thing and fail to hold your phone securely whilst the car is sat stationary, never mind whilst you're driving, going over bumps, etc. As a result after only a couple of hours usage I have found this device to be a complete waste of time and money and after depositing my phone on the floor of my car on two occasions I won't be using it again. In summary it fails to satisfy two key functional requirements of a phone holder - maintaining a secure hold of your phone and maintaining the phone / holder in a fixed position whilst you drive. I cannot recommend this device. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First class, outstanding customer care. I manage to use it but it needs extra support.I feel the vent attachment could be stronger as there is a fair amount of weight resting on flimsy supports particularly on bumpy roads.Having said that the seller contacted me totally unprompted a few months after my purchase and offered a free replacement which is a windscreen attachment.The new cradle came promptly and works a treat. I am really grateful to the seller for their support.
