It has successfully kept the acne at bay and gives me clear, glowing skin. The smell is fresh and it contains lots of natural oils and ingredients. It is a very liquid-y consistency so my method of application is to apply on a damp cotton wool pad and rinse with water after. It gets rid of every little bit of grime on the skin, and leaves it feeling thoroughly cleansed and toned, plus smooth. I love the feeling of having deeply cleansed skin. It works for removing my eye make too, and does not sting my eyes. There is no need to wash off the product, as it has a toning effect, but before bed, I do wash it off with lukewarm water, followed by splashing my face with cold water, and then using a night cream. I have tried hundreds of cleansers and toners over many years, and this is the best one. The scent is sublime, the texture is light and it leaves the skin refreshed and so smooth. I am a litte dissatisfied with the packaging. The blue glass bottle has been replaced with a green one and it seems that it contains organic olive oil soap and no witch hazel?
