Q: Hi do ineed to buy a seperate power supply lead for this charger?

The charger comes with a 240V- 5V power adaptor. You will need to buy or make balance charge cable to match battery connections.

Q: Will this charger charge through JST balanced connection only?

I’ve been charging 1s 3.7v LiPo’s with no balance lead and it’s been fine. Recognises the battery type and voltage and off it goes.

Q: Would I be able to get accurate dimensions of the charger itself?

137 x 86.5 x 33 is LxWxD with feet glued, if you remove the feet D=27.5, every measure in millimeters at the thickest (includes screws and power connector) with precise callipers.
