One of the best tried so far
All in all I've had 7 bottles of japanese whiskey and this one is by far the best bar 1 the Hibiki which i havnt got round to trying yet. I've paid double the price for bottles that are not as good as this one, buy it and you will not be disappointed

Undoubted quality but what do you like?
As my tasted runs to peat and smoke, i found this a little blandVery clean tasting mind, and i have no doubt at all of the quality.

very nice single malt whisky
it arrived on time and well packed as always. it was a present for friend of mine as he loves whiskies and particularly Japanese. It is a bit smoky, but not much as some Scotch whiskies, even I like those. This is very smooth, mellow and easy to drink. I wouldn't mind to buy as a present again.

Good price but wired plastic taste
First time try Hakushu. To be fair, it’s the worst Japanese whiskey I’ve ever had, compare to Hibiki, Yamasaki, Nikka. The first smell was good and unique, something smells like lime. However, the taste was wired, especially the after taste just like plastic and rubber. The more I have had the more I want to throw up. The only good thing I can tell is the Chinese or Japanese calligraphy on bottle. People may buy it only for some exotic experience. Honestly, in the budget of 60 quids, I can choose so many kinds of aged Scotch. Don’t say I’m not multicultural. I just feel it’s not tasty and overpriced, that’s it!
