Ability to deliver four stereo channels to four individual mini-amplifiers
First off, I'm not using this device the way most people would use it, e.g. multiple headphones. In other words I use this device to distribute my digital music, via my DAC (digital to analogue converter), to four of my five mini-amplifiers. And to this end it works beautifully, it has a volume control for each of the four stereo output channels, as well as an overall volume and balance control and, unexpectedly, more headphone input sockets on it's back than I could ever use (these sockets are not displayed on Amazon). That said, the sound conveyed is clean and detailed with, on rare occasions and to my ears, a slight brittleness in the upper frequencies but nothing I cannot live with. Overall, I find this device easy to use, more controls than I could ever want (I'm a set and forget kinda guy) and it delivers what I bought it for, i.e. distributing streamed music from my DAC to my mini-amplifiers.However, there are a few things I am not partial to, such as the flashing diodes, the plastic look and feel of the device and the fact that it's bigger than I thought it would be. But again, these little nit pickings are nothing that I cannot live with because the overall functionality, usefulness and sound this device conveys far outweighs it's aesthetics. Finally, I would say that this device is well worth the cost, at under £40 (I paid £39.99), and recommend it to anyone that has to pass a stereo signal onto four other devices.

Small and compact
Quickly delivered by Amazon Prime as ever. Great price compared to other online sources. The headphone amp is very small (see photos with hand in shot for scale) but came neatly packaged with the required 12v dc adapter for a UK socket.I am using it to drive my higher impedance (80 Ohm) Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro headphones and although the maximum volume is not ear splitting it is a significant improvement than just being driven straight from my MacBook Air M3 headphone socket. All 4 amps work independently and don’t seem to be affected if all used at the same time. Good clean sound with no distortion even at max volume. For the price and the size it’s a great piece of kit.

SO pleased I bought this little magic box
I sing in a covers rock/pop band as well as sing jazz, swing and show tunes as a soloist event singer, using pro backing tracks. The problem I was experiencing was that in the band, the drummer was so loud, I couldn't hear myself even with a 300watt wedge monitor under my nose, and with the solo stuff, I need to sing as background and couldn't always be near my PA system to hear well and the monitor was too heavy to lug around. I opted for in ear monitors, but my mixing desk has pre-amps for mic only, so my in ears needed a boost. This bit of kit is excellent, gives you complete control because of the separate volume knobs for mix and mic only, so if you want 'more me', you can have it. The only down side is that there are a lot of cables in and out, which if you are a presentation neat freak like me, can be messy and difficult to contain and hide, but the box itself is lightweight, small and compact.I would recommend this product if you are looking for a little more control and flexibility over your personal reception of sound, especially if this settles your confidence when performing. The item arrived promptly, was well packaged and the manual is easy peasey to understand (I'm a non technical girlie - even I coped !)

Great piece of kit at a low price
I bought this as a four channel audio duplication and disturbution system for a church streaming and podcast recording setup. Easy to setup. Audio quality is great and the quality of the pots for volume control on each channel are good and have no hiss or crackle when adjusting them. Works well with line level singals, mixer desk monitor outputs, computer line inputs and headphones. Price is just silly cheap for this quality. Well done again Behringer - great kit and great price.

Simple but perfect!
Bought to boost the output from BDF3 electronic drum kit VST. The output from the VST is quite low. Having run out through a USB audio interface, I still needed to boost the output to my monitors.Saw this and decided to test a theory. Studio pre-amps cost a fortune so this seemed a viable alternative.Popped it in line between the USB interface and speakers... Job done. Now I can use the monitor volume control on the interface (and just leave this device in line to top up the gain staging).Essentially, if you need to boost any audio... This will do the job nicely.Small device so fits anywhere.Only drawback is the absence of a power switch... But my studio gets powered down centrally after use so not a problem.Brilliant, portable multi-purpose audio booster. Plus you gain more viable outputs too.
