Will it fit 2005 jetta 1.8 l turbo

yes, it is universal turbo for 1.6-2.5L enigne, but maybe need modification when install, professional install in your local mechanic is better

Does this turbo spool fast?

AZ is wrong my 2.0 wrx with a 3582 turbo with a bigger a/r spools at 5.5k not 6-7k

Can I run it on a Honda grom?

I put a tiny turbo on a Grom fitted with a big bore kit going from 9hp to 14hp(big bore) then 19hp with the turbo. Low pressure (5.5 I think we used because the engine is very weak to pressure. You'll also have to upgrade the oil system or it overheats in just a few minutes. I'm sure we could crank up the boost and send that rod to God and get in the mid 20's before it pukes it's guts out on the dyno.
