Hi guys, is it true that if you don't put coffee in the machine and use it all the same, it will be just like a hot water machine (although smaller)?

Why would you not put coffee in the coffee machine, using a filter bag, that's the point of buying a coffee machine? Anyone else would use a kettle/urn for plain boiled water.

what size coffee filter paper does the machine use?

We use a size 2 filter for when making just two or 3 cups which works very well. It's a waste to use size 4 for a small amount of coffee.

Is the plastic BPA-free?

I was asking myself the same question and found a very comprehensive answer on the FAQ portion of their website. Lifted from their website: 'We do not use polycarbonate in the manufacture of any parts which come into contact with food, and we will not release a product for sale unless tests show that NO BPA is detected.'

Where is this coffee machine manufactured please?

According to the plate on the machine it is manufactured in China.
