And I was right. If you just use one part of each shaft and screw them together with a paddle at each end, you can assemble them as a small double ended kayak paddle, approx 120cm in length. The quality is decent enough and is perfect size for a small child, maybe up to 8/9 years old. We’ve only taken her kayaking on the canal but they got a fair bit of bashing around and cane out unscathed.
