Rawlings Sandlot Series Baseball Gloves | Multiple Sizes

I don't play baseball or softball but I'm just a dad of a 9 yr old who plays in a local Pony league and loves baseball and wants to pursue it. This is a great glove for my purposes. I play catch with my son for about 30 minutes a day after work. The glove was really easy to break in. I put glove oil on it twice and also did the hot water treatment about a week later, beat it with a glove mallet and used a Lizard Skin glove wrap on it for a few days and most importantly played catch with it and it is broken in nicely now. I flared out the thumb, curled the fingers, and broke in the hinges so it closes thumb to ring finger while using it two in the pinky. It has a really nice deep pocket like it should as a pitchers glove. The leather is good quality and I can tell that this glove will last years based on my usage. It's not a Heart of the Hide or A2K or anything but I'm also not paying $300-400 for this either nor am I pursuing a career in baseball. For my son, I will get him a nicer glove but for me this is perfect. Not much a fan of the color as it’s that wine red color. I was expecting or hoping it would be more of a brownish tint but it’s not a deal breaker.

Glove came in great quality, but wrong style, and wrong size. Labeled correctly on the bag, not the one I ordered though.

Had the glove for a week, braking it in, the inside ripped where you’re fingers go into, not good, to bad, I’ve always bought Rawlings gloves my whole life(57yrs)

Lo compré como regalo para alguien que es fan del beis. No juega con él en partido pero lo usa para jugar por su cuenta y se ha mantenido en muy buen estado.

I bought this for a 15u utility glove. Break in is easy and the thumb and pinky stay stiff. Definitely different leather from the 2018 model but I think it’s still a good choice. If you’re playing house league it will last a few seasons. Anything more competitive get a R9 or better.
