Amazing powerful torch!
This torch is amazing! It was so powerful and done the work right~ I got it for BBQ, and even before the grill it helped get the charcoal ready sooner. I used it searing the steak and the cheese on top of the burger. You can't flip the burger with cheese on it but with this guy, you can just melt it the way you like. very essential for household like grill and cooking. will try on sushi next.

This thing is a beast.
What a beast. Works well. I use it outdoors to light chimney of charcoal for BBQ. I would be afraid to use it in a kitchen, it can put out a ferocious flame and does not have a safety grip where if it is let go, it turns off.

Very powerfull
Confused about the safety comments on packaging. It says do not use indoors and is supposed to be used while cooking. Sometimes it takes more than a fey clicks to light. Luckily I use it to start outdoor pellet fire pit, killing bag worms and killing weeds on my driveway. Very handy and very satisfied. I would recommend.

Great deal
This is something! I should have bought this years ago! It lit a fire in our fireplace in record time. The intensity of flame is great, and it's from such a compact, easy to use small item. Worth the money!

After a few uses, no more ignition at all
Update: the igniter no longer works. I take it is common for some of these. Seems like unfortunately this is one of those makes.Original review: Strong focused flame, a bit stronger and focused than the other more common torch design. I compared the two. I know there's also yet another design around with a focusing diaphragm in the outlet, that might be marginally better in terms of focusing, but imo it will have no material effect on searing sous vide food, which is what I use it for.Specifically w.r.t. this design, it has double walled outlet, which indeed serves the purpose of temperature gradient isolation, after one minute of use it would not cause skin burns accident. After 5-7 minutes it does get hotter though. Also, it is stainless steel with no coating, which means I don't have to worry about coating peel and corrosion. We'll see about that, but this might be better for longevity. The clicking regulator is not material for anything, and is just a matter of preference, but I think I like it slightly more than the others. There are torches around with imo marginally better grip design, but this works just as well. All in all, potential longevity and safety are most standing out features here which is why I am keeping this one.Update: the spark igniter became unreliable. I tried to clean it , including wit a little filing, to get some oxide off, but it remains unreliable, spark is scarce . From what I am reading, this is quite common with these .
