Is it heat resistant? Do the pins melt off or bend with frequent usage with blow dryers?

Well mine is quite new still so no bendy bristles, don't it will go bendy it's a well made brush, and absolutely no melting, that would be a bit of a disaster for a brush. I use mine to blow dry my hair every day and it is effective giving some lift at the roots. Hope this puts your mind at ease, happy blow drying 😀😃

I need a rubber handle. Has this got a good crip?

I don't think thehandle is rubber but it has a very good grip.
