Alexander Mcqueen: The Life & the Legacy: Fashion Visionary

This is a 5 star book definitely - authoritative text, great pics (of course). However this particular edition is a smaller sized re-print of the same publisher's 2012 original (with different cover picture)....which makes it a bit cheaper and a bit easier to handle, but proportionately less spectacular. And just to confuse McQueen addicts even further: the US printing of this same book (which AmazonUK also sells) is entitled: 'Alexander McQueen: The Life and Legacy'; and the French version by publishers Eyrolles, ditto, simply 'Alexander McQueen'. So take your pick...! And for the record: Judith Watt very kindly responded to my enquiry re the above to say that she has absolutely no control over the title/dustjacket formats offered by the overseas publishers; which shows how mad it all is out there in bookworld. So don't get caught out...

Bought for niece who graduated last year and is great fan of Alexander McQueen and his creations. Shewas over the moon with this gift as would any fan of his be.

Excellent book. Although this book is EXACTLY the same as her other book titled Alexander McQueen The life and legacy, just a different cover and title. I obviously bought both not realising which is most annoying
