Great value for money! Some rubber ducks are 3 times the price of this. I like how it's sealed so water can't get in. Seems very good quality. Floats great. Decent size as well, some ducks on Amazon are tiny, these is a good size. Great value for money. No negatives.

Awwwwww I honestly just got this because it is (at the time) the most reasonably priced bath duck I can find. ***Note** duck looks as on sellers photo. Beak is rounded not shaped as seen on some older reviews*** Its super sturdy, floats well and I didn't want it to squeak as those are harder to clean. My baby is still small And i just wanted something colourful in the bath as I love taking her baby bath photos and this rests perfectly on her to get pictures without making her feel completely exposed. As for the temperature system, it's quite sensitive and my baby is now used go water on the warmer side. This is probably not the best method to check water temp. It works by changing the colour of the loveheart from bkue to white. This changed to white frkm both ambient running water and boiled hot water from a kettle (I tested) It just takes longer to revert back to blue if its too hot so I think you're better off doing the elbow dip to be sure. But after some time you'll begin to get an idea of what your baby likes. My baby loves a bath but she'll usually cry a little the first few seconds. It takes a few seconds or minutes for her to realise she is safe and just bath time. So as i said not the best way to check the temp -use a thermometer for that if you want absolute accuracy but it makes an awesome first bath duck to have. I really like it. It's makes a great prop to sing duck songs with. Waddle waddle..

This is a wonderful little product, this bright and cheerful duck has a blue temperature indicator that turns white with the heat of the water. It indicates when it is a safe temperature to use the water with a child and takes away the worry. It’s also great that the child can play with it too and could be used for baths, paddling pools and water play activities etc. It has been a great purchase for us and would recommend using a water temperature thermometer for children.

My daughter for some strange reason is mad about ducks and even her first word was duck not mummy or daddy so she now has quite a big collection of bath time ducks to play with but I wanted another to add to her collection and saw this one with the temperature indicator not really something I was looking for as I find the back of my hand or an elbow more than sufficient but as it looked nice and of good quality with a reasonable price so I went for it. It is very good quality and no leaks, I did test the duck in some hot water and it worked I just feel it doesn’t really give a good enough indication of temperature and in my opinion not really accurate enough to rely on. What I liked ************ - Very good quality - Good price - My daughter loves it What I Didn’t Like ***************** - In my opinion not accurate enough to rely on Summary ********** My daughter loves this and I didn’t really get it for the heat testing feature that was just an added extra that in my opinion fails but that said it’s no more expensive than other ducks I looked at and it is indeed very good quality, my daughter would not let it go now and it’s the first duck she looks for at bath time so for that reason I am not being too harsh and giving it 4 stars.

who doesn't love a rubber duck that will monitor water temperature?

Bought it two months ago in a deal at a much lower price. Needed a good quality, watertight bath toy cause my toddler tends to chew everything and the squeaky toys collect water and get mouldy on the inside. Hence didn't hesitate paying a premium for this. Happy that I did. After two months of twice daily dunking and swimming, ducky is as good as new. The printed eyes (even the eyelashes) haven't faded even a bit. The HOT indication feature works, but don't use it much cause I prefer to check the temp with my palm. Baby loves it and loves bath time because of it.

Baby loves this duck! I love it too! It is so cute, and well priced. I especially like that it doesn’t squeak because that means there’s no hole for water to get into and make it mouldy! I used it alongside my thermometer and it seems to warn of “HOT” pretty accurately too. It’s a good size and easy to grasp.
