I don't normally write reviews unless it's necessary and in this instance it's necessary.My 9 month old is very adventurous and has learnt to climb out of every bouncer & walker we have bought for him. I have found myself pulling my hair out as he seems to want to play with everything he shouldn't be playing with and it makes it very hard work to do any house hold chores, or even just take a shower!I initially ordered this because I've started cleaning for some people and I have to take Alfie with me, and there would be absolutely no way I could do it if I hadn't have got this play pen.It's very well made and even I didn't have to read the instructions. Sometimes when you see pop up it can be complicated and not as easy as it was advertised but in this case it is completely portable and easy to use. You literally take it out of the bag, shake it to open it up and then pull the straps down to the bottom so it creates tension and keeps it secure.What's more is that my son loves it - as you can see in the photos. It doesn't restrict them in anyway and because it's not made of metal there are no bars for them to smack their head on. I stuck my 3 year old son in there and even he couldn't get out!The bottom is just a liner so if putting on a wooden floor you may wish to put a blanket underneath but that's hardly an issue.It is amazing and will come in handy when I go to the beach and out for picnics too. It goes into a carry bag and is light weight so it's easy to carry just about anywhere. Oh and if you want to transport it between rooms in the house it's been made so that it fits comfortably through a standard door so you don't even have to put it down to move it.Wish I'd have got it sooner. Best thing I've ever ordered! Now I can be free of worry knowing my baby is safe and happy.

Recently bought this for my 11 month old who's started to be on the move and to keep him safe from big sisters toys with smaller pieces. Much bigger than anticipated excellent size. Easily sets up and takes down as stated. Spent hours studying different play pens and travel cot reviews before deciding on this one and 100 per cent glad I chose this one. Little one cried every time sat him on the floor to play with toys while went to the toilet quick etc but now he's more than happy to sit in his playpen. Think the mesh panels are great as site or view not restricting him seeing me in the kitchen or from anywhere in the room. Love the pocket that comes to slide a tablet it too. He leans over to get in the playpen he loves it so much. Wish I had bought it months ago. Very safe and sturdy. We have the uv roof on it even when indoors for the sun coming through the window and he seems to feel safe and secure in the space. So far no found a single negative to report.

I took quite a while comparing playpens on Amazon and finally settled on this because some of the other "pop out" ones, though cheaper, did not look like they would be strong enough to stop a baby from just pushing down the sides and crawling out - they were more ballpens really, to be used with hundred of balls. I was looking for something to keep at my office, for when baby gets dropped off early by the childminder, so that I had somewhere secure to leave him while I had to finish off working.This playpen is large (I did expect that), so lucky I had the space for it. It does the job well, and baby did not mind being put in it - he's still learning to crawl, and this pen is actually big enough for him to practice! It folds up to a very acceptable size for hiding in the corner when not in use, and folding up is quite easy. The only problem I had with it was the opening of the playpen. So far, we've opened it 5 times, and each time I couldn't do it myself - someone had to help. I hesitate to say it requires 2 people, as I think once I get the hang of it I'll probably be able to open it myself. It's just that it isn't easy to know how to do it first off.I do love this playpen, and as summer is nearly upon us I might end up ordering another for use in the garden.

Excellent product. Love the fact that it folds away to nothing and has a carry case to transport it around in. Great for going between my place and my mother when she is looking after the little one. VERY quick and easy to set up and fold away. (A bit like an umbrella if that makes any sense at all, it sort of collapses in on itself/pops open.) Has straps at the side to secure it to make it sturdy and no risk of it collapsing. Very secure and spacious play pen and feel my daughter is very safe and happy in it. I use it in the garden as we have no lawn so not great for little one crawling around. Little one can stand up in it holding sides and no risk of it toppleing over. Plenty of room for a sibling or friend to join a child in it. Fantastic buy.

I bought this to contain my little one when she started crawling and it's perfect for when I need to get things done in the house/make dinner etc. We only have a small house so it was important to have something that could be quickly put up/down - and this playpen is exactly that.We've put a foam backed picnic blanket in the bottom as it only has a thin fabric bottom (which makes sense given how easy it is to fold and store). It's super easy to put up and fold down so very portable for days at the seaside or out in the garden. The quality is very good - seems robust when my little one is pulling herself up and leaning on the sides. I think its very good value for the money and would definitely recommend it.My only criticism would be it would be nice to have a larger pocket on the outside for wipes or a drink if you're outside with it.
