With some trepidation (purely because of the relatively cheap price compared to professional or branded units) I ordered this item and my line of thought was that after reading loads of reviews and checking prices I figured I had nothing really to lose. I have concluded it has turned out to be a good and worthwhile purchase: It was delivered quickly after ordering and was contained within a preprinted retail box with all the bits and bobs that I expected after looking at the item pictures on Amazon. In fact all the "accessories" that came with it were stored in their own clear bags and the lighting unit itself stored within its carry bag for transit within the box. It basically all looked new and unused (okay admittedly as it should but you never know sometimes). There are instructions and though the chinese-english translation isn't the best it didn't in any case take long to get this light working on a set of AA batteries and also a Sony type camcorder battery - all of the LED's lit up on "power on" which gave me confidence in it to begin with: In fact, operation of the light is fairly fool proof if you take your time on initially getting to grips with what the buttons do and how it all fits together. All of the unit buttons are labelled and all appear to function as they should. The unit throws out enough light for me to do what I wish to do and the barn doors are an added bonus to assist with a degree of lighting effect. The filters slot into the housing making them easy to place and remove and seem to work as intended. Whether it throws out enough light is difficult to comment on - peoples opinions are always going to differ depending on expectation though I did come across an interesting youtube video that made comparisons between this light and a few others which also helped me to decide to take a gamble on this one (search youtube or even google the model and make and I am sure you will find it too). Build quality seems fine given the price unless of course you plan to drive a steam roller over it. Would it take really rough handling? Probably not but I tend to treat any type of equipment like this carefully (irrespective of cost) in any case to avoid having to replace something unnecessarily - clearly time will tell how it fairs with long term handling and use. I should say that whilst I will use it as "portable" lighting in all probability it will spend much of its time placed and mounted on a lightstand and so far I havent encountered any issues with this as it seems happy to sit mounted on a stand without me having to worry that it will decide to fall off or even slip over on its adjustable bracket. Am I happy? Yes as it will provide me with an effective bit of lighting kit for photography and video without an enormous price tag and, but for the fact the price of this particular light seems to fluctuate so much on Amazon (increasing since I ordered mine), I would of bought another as at around thirty pounds or so it represents good value compared to so many others that are available at a similar and sometimes higher price point.

This onboard video light is really great value for money. I've been searching for a while to find one that offers all the control/options of a more expensive light whilst still retaining a decent quality. I'm happy to say this light ticks all of those boxes. The light comes with options to power it via all manner of different battery types. I'm using Sony NP batteries and I got about 6 hours worth of use out of it before needing to change. You can mount it on top of your camera via the hotshoe adapter or you can fit the supplied handle which means you can get someone else to hold it at a more flattering angle to your subject, and being LED it doesn't get hot. You can even slip the handle over the top of a lighting stand but as there is no screw tightening to hold it in place this isn't the safest option, though you could easily buy an adapter which will allow you to do this safely. The light output is really bright and there is also a dimmer control on the back so you can regulate this down to what you require. Plus you get 2 really handy slide-in filters for tungsten correction and also diffusion. Due to the soft nature of the light the supplied barn doors aren't really that useful but they do serve to offer some protection at least even if you can't shape the light with them. I work in video production and I've used this alongside some high-end professional lighting and it not only looks the part but also does a great job.

I got this LED video light to complement my bag of lights. I mainly use it for still photos. The dimmer buttons work as expected (even though I would rather have an analogue knob for better control), the output is enough if you don't mind high ISOs, and the batteries last a whole day (on and off, of course). I used it recently at a wedding and, although this is a very flexible setup, I found that the light colour, even when using the included filters, was a bit off. I couldn't get rid of a funny colour cast, no matter how much I tried (I'm old skool and like to do most of the work in-camera). I can't see the point of those reflective flags, since they don't really enhance or restrict the light in anyway. This would be ok if there was only one light source, but because there are 160 of them, it really doesn't work. The only real use is to protect the LEDs when in transit. All in all, it's a good piece of kit, at a decent price. It could use a bit more power, but I guess at tis price, you couldn't ask for more.

棒状の取っ手などを取り付けずに裸で使おうと思って購入しました。が、裸なままだと意外に持ちにくく結局取っ手を使っています。 付属バッテリーは4400mAhの大容量タイプでずっしり重たいです。 バッテリーを取り付けているとワンタッチで光るので、持ち運びするときはバッテリーを取り外した方がよさそうです。 リモコンはbluetoothで単四電池2本が別途必要。 当たり前と言えば当たり前ですが、まったく問題なくスムーズにリモコンから点灯・消灯・光量調節ができました。 本体360g（取っ手含めて454g） バッテリー185g リモコン25g（エネループ2本入れて49g）

De bonne facture. Éclairage suffisamment puissant et uniforme pour mon usage d'amateur. Toutefois, en éclairage indirect (sur plafond blanc par ex ....), une 2ème torche serait la bien venue.J'ai obtenu 1h20 d'autonomie avec des R6 de 1800 mAh. J'ai monté sans problème mes batteries Sony (directement) et Panasonic (avec l'adaptateur fourni). Attention : les photos laissent penser que la fixation est compatible avec les accessoires "Gopro". Il n'en est rien car les pattes sont crantées et moins épaisses. Cela obligerait à serrer à mort au risque d'écraser le crantage ou de casser les pattes. N'y comptez pas ! Les volets coupe-flux m'ont paru parfaitement inutiles ! Sur une source de lumière unique, je comprends. Mais là, non. J'explique : pour une source lumineuse unique, le bord d'un volet induit une diffraction de la lumière qui se traduit par une bande plus lumineuse suivie d'une autre moins lumineuse. On oriente donc (pour un éclairage uniforme) le volet de façon à ce que cette distorsion de la lumière ne soit pas visible sur l'image. Mais dans ce cas, on a .... 10 rangées de .... 16 sources lumineuses ! Ce qui induit donc 10 diffractions par volet dans le sens horizontal et 16 en vertical, à la manière d'une lumière traversant une persienne ! À banir donc. Sauf s'il l'on recherche un effet graphique. J'ai retiré ces volets et ainsi allégé la torche de 50 gr ! Le bouton marche/arrêt est de type push in/push out. Je ne le trouve pas très pratique et en aurais préféré un à bascule. Bien vu pour le test de capacité des batteries. Cette torche m'est vite devenu indispensable. Glop, glop, glop ....

Barata, cómoda, ligera, y muy útil. Una gran compra y sin duda en su relación Calidad/Precio, es de lo mejor en el mercado. Además de poder regular la luz desde algo tenue a un buen foco, no consume mucha batería, una gran compra.

Dotato di batteria, 3 filtri con vari funzioni e telecomando bluetooth, questo faretto a led da 5500k +/- si rivela utile sia nel video che nelle foto. le alette argentate indirizzano il fascio di luce dove occorre, mentre lo snodo posteriore funziona in verticale che in orizzontale. Il telecomando ha un interruttore di accensione ed è quindi consigliabile spegnerlo per non consumare le batterie AAA (mini stilo in dotazione) quando inutilizzato, allo stesso modo è bene togliere la batteria del faretto in quanto si consuma anche se spento.Nel retro faretto c'è un pulsante di accensione ed un pulsante che in una scala da 0 a 9 indica la carica della batteria.Per estrarre la batteria pigiare sul tasto posto alla base del vano tirandola indietro.

Lo uso da tanto tempo a questa parte e mi ha lasciato molto soddisfatto per la sua quantità luminosa. La durata con le batterie stilo ricaricabili non è altissima (Non ho ancora avuto modo di testare con una batteria al litio) però davvero ottimo articolo e ben dotato grazie ai filtri compresi e le diverse montature.
