Not as pastel as hoped, but very gorgeous!
I really adore this keyboard.Although I am a gamer and work in the industry, I haven't had a fancy keyboard before. I much preferred wireless so I could play less restricted.I've been on the lookout for a pink keyboard since forever, and when this released I started saving up for the keyboard and mouse set! I really would have wished there was a wireless version, but this is worth making compromises.Size (including the removable Wrist Rest)- Format: Tenkeyless compact layout- Width: 14.5 inch / 37 cm- Length: 9 inch / 23 cm- Hight: 1.5 inches / 4 cm - 2 inch / 5cm when elevated.Key layout:QUARZ only comes in US layoutColour:I researched this keyboard a lot before spending this much money, and from the pictures and YouTube videos I would have thought the keyboard was a little more pastel than it actually is. It's not hot pink, but it's dark- pastel pink ?I made a contious effort to not filter these pictures, and I think I did a good job nailing the exact colour in the right lower picture that I took from a little further away!Noise:Green Switches aka very type writer clacky. It's loud, and you definitely wanna go PTT on voice comms, else you'll drive everyone crazy.FEATURES:- Removable Wrist Rest:Stays docked using magnets, feels very clean- Elevation:Yes, it has those little legs to tilt the keyboard, and the magnetic Wrist Rest adjusts without difficulties.- RGB:Tweakable through "Razer Central" which is a downloadable program that lets you decide what colour(s) you want your Razer devices to glow in. I chose a calm cold pastel blue all over, but you can even design it so that certain buttons can have individual colours. It's very elaborate!- Removable Plug:The keyboard gets charged through a detachable mini usb. This means you can unplug the keyboard at night to avoid it still glowing, and save energy.----I've had this set for about a month now, and I'm very pleased. It's easy to clean, feels very rewarding and responsive to type and game on, and it's soooo pretty!Only downsides:- Took a good month to deliver- Scratches easier than I thought, but as soon as the first scratch happened I took more care, and it's just a lifestyle adjustment.I'm used to more durable cheaper keyboards. Woops.Pro Tip: only use cups with lids next to expensive gaming gear 😅

Stunning keyboard!
This keyboard is so pretty! It’s US version (as there is no U.K.) but it’s there’s hardly a difference. The colour is stunning and matches my desk!

Satisfying sound & feel.
The media could not be loaded. So satisfying to touch, lovely sound & feel with these switches and being able to customise the lighting to anything you want is great! Best gaming keyboard I have had so far.

Good value for money
There are better keyboard for gaming out there, but not for this price. I am a programmer, thus a and heavy typer, and for this purpose I couldn't have found better. The mechanic click is loud, but it's one of the reasons why I bought it. Many colour patterns, one colour green. High quality cables with fabric isolation.

Clacky and durable
Absolutely in love with this, I have had this for a while now, still fully functional, everyone who uses it love it, only downside is the clacky keys is very much picked up on voice thus annoys team mates haha - But very durable, reccommend getting it with the cushiony wrist rest also

It was good at the time
Dont buy this keyboard now, i bought mine in 2017 and it has served me well, though it has lots of rust on the edges. The space bar, shift key etc rattle a lot for anyone who cares. This keyboard is very outdated and dosent feel that great for a modern keyboard, for its price you should be looking at something else really.

Overall Good but don't buy to use with mac
Razer Synapse support for mac is almost non existent. The Synapse software for mac doesn't work most of the times making most of the features unusable in mac. Works great in windows.

Beautiful RGB, beautiful keycaps
My boyfriend has had a Razer keyboard for a while now (several years) and after I recently built a new RGB PC, I wanted a matching keyboard.I bought several keyboards off Amazon and none of them were very satisfying. I bought two Pictek ones - the mechanical and non-mechanical, and the CHONCHOW mechanical keyboard. I will compare this keyboard to those. The Pictek ones are very mushy - even the mechanical keyboard doesn't actually feel mechanical, and is not very fun to type on. The RGB is also very very dim on the non-mechanical keyboard, so I returned these two. The CHONCHOW one is quite fun to type on, feels like a true mechanical keyboard, but the LEDs were not able to create a breathing RGB effect which I really wanted from my keyboard. So I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and get a Razer keyboard, even though it was double the price - and I'm very happy with it.The first one that I bought was returned, as it had chattering issues (the t key would double-press and triple-press) and I've heard that this can be an issue - so just keep that in mind when you buy one of these keyboards. In the end I couldn't find a way to fix it so I just ordered a replacement one.I've had the replacement one for a few weeks and it works great. The RGB is beautiful - the LEDs light the keys up all the way, except for F9 and F10, which have small icons underneath the F9 and F10 type. I love how bright the keyboard is as well. The keycaps feel great, and the typing on it is fantastic. I can't really compare to Cherry MX Blue, since I've never had one, but as a first mechanical keyboard it feels very clicky and nice. Feels nice and weighty, and feels like high quality plastic.I especially like the design of the type that they've used on the keyboard. It's very modern and why I chose this keyboard over Corsair or other brands... If I'm going to buy a keyboard for RGB effects, I want the type that the light shines through on the keyboard to look nice. The cable it comes with is braided, and the keyboard case it comes with feels nice and sturdy. None of the other keyboards I bought came with a case. The customization is great. It doesn't allow you to do EVERYTHING (For example, you can't set brightness on specific keys or create your own animations frame-by-frame) but there's enough for almost anyone. You can even set different keys to use different animation settings (some can be wave, for example, and others can be spiral)... Great feature for me, I've set the F and J to be different colors from the rest so they stand out when I'm trying to get to them in the dark. One thing that I miss on this keyboard is the volume settings. This is a small thing, but since there is no numpad, there's no extra keys for volume settings to go up or down - you need to use FN+F1/F2/F3 to increase/decrease volume. That's the only thing that I really miss from the CHONCHOW keyboard - since I don't use macros or anything.Overall, a great keyboard - would recommend to most people - and I'll change this review if it breaks within a few months.Edit: It's 3 years later and this keyboard still works, except it does have some double typing. What makes me so sad is that the font is discontinued, so you won't be able to get this font anymore. To me it's really beautiful and is the reason that I was attracted to razer keyboards in the first place. Luckily I have my bf's and my keycaps to hopefully last me for a long time. And who knows, maybe I'll find a new favorite font someday..

Perfect PC gaming keyboard
I was looking for an upgrade from an older Steel Series keyboard and I'm really happy I chose this one. The keys have the perfect amount of resistance and spring when playing and are a little noisier than I was used to (this being a mechanical keyboard and my old one was not) but it doesn't take away from the overall experience. The wristguard is so comfy and soft as well.

Questionable paint job, comfy wrist rest, nice lighting effects with Synapse 3, PINK!!!
Update February 11th, 2019: I ended up having to return my original keyboard cause of one of the issues I mentioned previously. The keys were typing too many of the same letter. For example, I press E once, and it would type 3 Es instead of just 1! It did go away at first, but then it came back a while later and it got increasingly worse. In addition to this, my keyboard randomly turned off a few times! Eventually I determined this was caused by the power cord being faulty. The keyboard would turn on and off by the slightest wiggle of the cord. I'm actually surprised it didn't turn off more often. So it seems I was sent a defective product originally.I went directly through Razer for support. Returning the keyboard was very easy and I got a new one back quickly. Going over some points from my old review, I'll say that the new keyboard's paint job is much better. I haven't had ANY issues with it typing multiple letters when I press the key once.I would say though, now that I have a keyboard that isn't defective I'd definitely give this product 5 stars after having used it since back in September 2018. I love it!Original review:I needed to replace my old keyboard. Originally I was after a white keyboard but this popped up in the Amazon search results along with the Razer Mercury Edition (metal with white keys) but how could I pass up a pink keyboard? Well I couldn't. 😂One thing I wish it had is a numberpad. It's not really necessary but I do miss having one. And because it doesn't have one, the leds lighting pattern aren't centered in the middle of *this* keyboard. They're centered as if there is still a numberpad when there isn't. So the "center" of the leds is a bit over to the right. You will notice this with certain lighting settings. Minor, but notable. The wrist rest is soft. I like the material it's made of. It's also magnetic. Strong enough to keep it on the keyboard while sitting on the table, but too weak to pick the keyboard up without it falling off.The cord can be removed, I like this because cords tend to fail more often. It also makes it easier to take with me in a back pack for example. I do wish they had made the keyboard a wired/wireless duo, considering it already has the detachable cord. This keyboard works with Synapse 3 beta and has awesome lightning effects. Haven't had any issues with the app. When I first used the keyboard it kept typing the same letter multiple times from one key press. Eventually this stopped and it works great. After playing some games and using the keyboard it was gone. I remember this happening with my boyfriend's Razer keyboard as well when he first got it.The paint job also seems to be poor on the back sides of the keys, especially the number keys. Included a photo of that as it was the most obvious and easiest to photograph. Part of the key looks gray. There are other keys like that too. And the part of the keyboard between the light up razer logo and the space bar looks faded, gray, almost like its dirty but it's brand new so it's not! Just a bad paint job. There's a clear color difference between the keyboard and wrist rest as well. I would've included a photo but I couldn't get a good photo of it. The wrist rest is substantially more saturated, vivid, while the keyboard looks washed out in comparison.Overall great keyboard. It has a few minor issues, with my focus being on the paint job. So for that it gets 4 stars. But I'm very happy with the purchase couldn't ask for a better keyboard as cute as this one! Though I'm sure I could've found a pink keyboard without faded paint.
