Outstanding, active, waterproof sunscreen
Firstly, I had intended to compare this as an almost like for like with the Australian Gold SPF 30 (made in USA?!?) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/r.html?C=148LYIXGS6DN9&K=XVVFZDS7FC27&M=urn:rtn:msg:20180730083500e6e32634845b4cfab1c9818aff50p0eu&R=AD45WYF02Y3&T=C&U=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB00CQIRYQM%3Fref_%3Dpe_3187911_248764861_302_E_DDE_dt_1&H=QXSGXGFUDQBMIYRYIN3VXRSO0B0A&ref_=pe_3187911_248764861_302_E_DDE_dt_1, except you can't use that on your face (seriously, I accidentally put it on first day and it felt like I'd rubbed chillies all over my face after 2 minutes). The difference was clear after one use.Where to start, my 7 year old and I usually go to the coast of Northern Italy, which involves lots of beach time in and out of the sea, along with not taking any shade with us. Last year after using run of the mill sunscreens, that claim to be for active use, resulted in the worst sunburn I've had in 30 odd years. The sunscreen I would've risked trying to get through customs, because at first glance it looks like it could get through, I'd decided to book a hold bag this year any way, because of other things we were taking (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/r.html?C=38VLIQ1P7ES9H&K=XVVFZDS7FC27&M=urn:rtn:msg:20180730011931fb299490193244a69f450b371180p0eu&R=AD45WYF02Y3&T=C&U=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB00L46SOWK%2Fref%3Dpe_3187911_189395841_pd_te_s_wl_ti%2F261-7512067-3605849%3F_encoding%3DUTF8%26pd_rd_i%3DB00L46SOWK%26pd_rd_r%3DYD7MDB9E2FH8H56B8563%26pd_rd_w%3DP6gIK%26pd_rd_wg%3DwlXqn&H=02X0YLPRQA62UYQ8AMZUADPIAGIA&ref_=pe_3187911_189395841_pd_te_s_wl_ti). For two people running around for a week, I'd suggest 2 bottles and split them in to three smaller 80ml, either squeezable or round, containers, due to the thick, creamy consistency.Application is good first thing, it really sinks into your skin, doesn't leave any white cast, and if you were just using this on face, arms and legs to wander lasts an incredible amount of time (80 minutes in the sea, 120 minutes on dry land). Second application with any moisture (sea water, perspiration, etc.) is a little harder not to get a touch of white cast, although, not an issue for me (it could work in with more massage or after a towel off). It seems to bond onto the 1st layer, and cover in, which if you're out in the seas swimming or surfing, you definitely want that coverage. In the water, I could see beading of water on my daughter's face and my arms, gave me a reassuring sign that we were covered. These are the aspects the Australian Gold let us down, reapplication and sense of security in the water. On the parts that I'd used the Jack Black, I got an even light bronze glow by the third day and felt more moisturised, with the gold, it was a much deeper bronze.Allowing for differences in SPF, one seems designed for sunbathing and lounging with the odd dip, the other for active beach lovers. The aromas, Aussie is a lovely tropical scent that really smells nice on, Mr Black very neutral, almost imperceptible. My daughter liked the Aussie, for aroma reasons I'm guessing, and it seems it kept up with her running around. For sense of security, and all around cover, if buy nothing but this year after year. It truly is a great product with broad spectrum defence against UV. I'd recommend to anyone who works outdoors all year round.

Perfect!
I use this as my daily moisturiser, and it's amazing. I have very oily skin and this is so light, it feels like a water/gel consistency once you apply to the skin. It leaves a nice sheen which looks healthy, not greasy. High SPF, no fragrance, no irritants, plenty of high quality antioxidants to boost skins functions and UV protection. You also get a lot of product.

Good, but....
Not greasy. No white cast on skin. If you have a beard/moustache then it'll take a white colour when the sunscreen is applied. So only apply on skin and make sure to not apply on facial hair.

Fully satisfied with my purchase.
Fully satisfied with my purchase. No issues regarding the retailer themselves. As for the product - it does what it says on the label. Moderate level (SPF45) sun protection for daily use. I use this on my entire face, neck & backs of my hands and it gives the impression of a well-moisturised skin, but less so than your usual expectation of a "dewy finish". Cards on the table - it is NOT matte, but that's not a shortcoming, simply a fact. The only reason it gives my face a slightly more dewy finish, compared to my neck & backs of my hands, is because I use a rather heavy-duty daily moisturiser on my face, underneath the foundation. It is easy to apply & spread evenly. However, keep in mind that if you are coming from a past of constantly using predominantly ZnO/TiO2-free sunscreens, and you inadvertently compare it to the ease of application of those, then you would probably consider it slightly more difficult to spread evenly product. Once again, we have to be fair, as it contains ZnO and it is "oil-free", so this is something I was expecting prior to ordering. It is easy to re-apply throughout the day, without any considerable difference in ease of application, compared to the primary daily one.I do recommend the product & the retailer. I will be repurchasing this item once I am close to finishing the product.

Premium grooming
The amount needed vs the size of the bottle, quality of the product and price make this a great buy.Only a tiny amount needed. Premium grooming

The best sunscreen I have used yet!
This is the best sunscreen I have ever tried. It doesn't smell bad like normal sunscreen. It's not greasy and it protects the skin for a long time, even when sweating a lot or bathing. I highly recommend it!

Will repurchase 😊
This sunscreen is wonderful for the price! I will continue to purchase it. It is oil free aka non-comedogenic therefore good for acne prone skin. However bear in mind that it feels quite silicone heavy. It feels and looks shiny and slippery but I'm sure it is nothing that some translucent powder can't fix! It starts off white but once it is rubbed in there is no white cast on brown skin (although I'm sure there would be in a photograph with flash, but this is true of SPF across the board). I've only removed one star for the silicone feeling which makes it feel like less of an oil-free product.

Just the job!
Great stuff, no white residue easily absorbed and I haven’t had a sunburn so it must be working. You don’t need much so it lasts a good long while too. Give it a try!
