Amazing value for money
I needed a cheap printer to print a few pages to get us by after a household fire. I was surprised to find that it was as cheap as £22.50 delivered (with Prime), and that not only it was a printer, it was a flatbed scanner too. It's printed the 50 or so pages I needed to print without an issue.Of course it doesn't have wifi or bluetooth and it's not amazing quality. But it's outstanding value for money. It's probably not going to last for thousands of pages, but you can't expect anything else at the prize. The only fault I can find is that the OS X printer software and scanner software is a bit bloated at 300MB, but not uncommon - very minor.

Average Printer at Superb Value
Ordered this printer as I needed a scan / print facility at my parents. The printer arrived within in the 'Prime' period and was well packaged. The printer comes with basic ink - it wont last long but at this price can you complain? The printer is slightly noisy and slow on scanning. Printing is OK - not brilliant quality but good for letters / documents. The software that comes with the printer is average - I prefer the Epson software but this maybe because I am used to the Epson interface. For the price it is difficult to complain about. One thing to watch is the software will ask you to 'align' the printer - this will use up a few pages of ink so suggest you print a document/letter first - if its Ok no need to align and you haven't lost the ink.

Good all Round Printer
Great printer, it’s very quick to start up and quick at printing also there is a very neat system when aligning the heads or doing maintenance instead of printing loads of pages to check and realign you just print one and then scan the result and it does it automatically without the need to print loads of pages wasting ink. Good one touch button for copying and really clear output on scanning,The price for Black ink and Tri-Colour is very reasonable so there’s no need to buy cheap compatible cartridges or refills that can seriously damage your printer. All in all a good buy and pleased so far.

Great printer for Linux (Ubuntu)
My Requirements - runs native under linux, reasonable cheap consumbles. This printer met both my requirements and its setup was plug-and-play on Ubuntu.I was printing and scanning as soon as the printer was plugged in, no difficult calibration or adjustments were required. The price for such a great printer is very competitive - as I've just bought I cant say how good it is on ink consumption, and the tri-colour cartridge is a little concerning, but they are easily/cheaply available on-line, so have no real doubts that this will be a great work-horse printer for my home and academic usage.

I feel exhausted
The printer actually works OK now but only gets one start because I feel shattered by it.The first thing that annoyed me was that it does not come with a cable. The cable is only £2 from another supplier but that is not the point - if it does not work without the cable why is this not included? I needed a printer quickly and it arrived the very next day - unfortunately the printer cable did not arrive for a week so was unable to even test the printer until then.In my naivety I was expecting to run the disk, plug the printer in and away.....no such luck. The printer would only print the test page and nothing else. The documents did not even appear in the print queue....the anger. When I googled this problem it appears that many tortured souls have found themselves in the same situation. One of them said that he had been trying to resolve this problem 'for months'. After and age trying to follow the responses to same query on HP web site I phoned the 'know how' helpline as I am using a new lap to from PC world. The guy accessed the computer remotely online, made changes to the firewall and got the printer working. It may be an easy task for IT experts but I was unable to resolve this and I see from online forums that I am not alone!! For people like me who are not good with IT troubleshooting I would recommend buying one from PC world then at least you can you the 'know how' service if you have installation problems.
