I actually planted directly in the tray packaging they came in at first and have kept the trays to use again, as they’re pretty convenient for seedlings. I think this is ok for the price, it is more expensive than if you got a bag of potting mix for seedlings, but these are pretty convenient, easily transferable without harming the root systems, I love the spongeyness and I prefer these over coir disks and rockwool.
