Review: These are the goooooooodd - Used to be a drummer years ago, wanted some thing to play on that would not upset the neighbours to much as I have retired and fancied playing again just for own pleasure. Always a bit weary about electric drums, but I am now proved wrong. These are good for any one wanting to learn or practice in the house. What attracted me to these was the fact the snare was placed in the right position, unlike some others. Out of the box, it was easy assembled with some time and care. Wires all plugged in, headphones in, power on, and wow. I have tried them for a couple of days now and I must say the range of kits are great, the sound is spot on and the response time of the pads are superb. It's taking me a little time to get everything where I feel comfortable as you would do with any kit, but now it's full steam ahead for hours of enjoyment. I really like the design of the bass peddle, and hi-hat peddle, magic. Response of the two match any I have played in the past. I am looking forward to using these for many years hopefully, and putting tracks down with a guitar. Old fart rocker very happy, animalllllll.
Review: Very good build and easy to store - Very pleased with this...easy to assemble ....easy to programme just need to practice!... folds down and stores conveniently

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can you set this up left handed?**
A: You can move the pads around to a point. Also you can assign any sound to any pad. I have ride on Tom 2 for example. The kick and hi hat can be positioned anywhere you choose.

**Q: this has a kick pedal , is there a kick drum for it to connect with , it isnt in the picture ?**
A: The pedal that you can see from the picture has a rubber hammer-type end, that hits another rubber block. This creates the drum sound, which is obviously amplified through headphones or an amp. In answer to your question, there is no drum as such, but the pedal is extremely well engineered and my son's drum teacher made it clear that this pedal was a vital part of the kit, because it has the feel of a real base drum pedal.

**Q: What size output lead do i need to connect to an amp**
A: Hi,

The outputs on the CSD130 brain are 1/4" jacks. So for mono you would just need a standard instrument jack - jack cable.

EESMusic

**Q: what head phones fit it i.e the attachment of headphone lead to kit?**
A: Just a normal Jack lead small 😉

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These do the trick
*by D***L on 29 December 2016*

Set these up. The instructions aren't great and there was a bit of guess work in the cabling, but all in all, they are fit for purpose. At this price-point, they are a good set for practising at home. They sound good through a decent set of headphones (not provided), but a little tinny through a practice amp. Ideal for a first set and if you get serious, upgrade to a £500 kit such as Roland.
