These were ok, the dark chocolate I found to be a little sweet. They kinda reminded me of rice crispy squares. They did have a slight powdery aftertaste but it wasn't unpleasant like some. Sadly I cannot eat them, I have a health condition and for some reason, these triggered it and made me very ill. Not the fault of the bars at all, had I not become ill I would have bought more and I do recommend them.

I didn't realise that PhD Nutrition does a smart protein bar AND a separate smart plant bar.I had intended to get the smart plant bar. This Smart protein bar has protein from dairy and collagen (which I think comes from meat sources).It's my fault for not reading the description, I guess. But just be careful that you order exactly what you want!

I have ordered several times in the past without issue, but my last order the first bar I opened was damaged. It was only when I attempted to return the item I noted that this product is not eligible for return. In the future I'll need to check if an item can be returned or not before I decide to purchase it. As the quality of the product I received is substandard and I don't want it. Luckily Amazon refunded me "on this occasion". I don't it to be a lottery that what I receive is in good condition or not and that I have to accept it no matter what is delivered.

I did enjoy these, a little too much if I am honest, I can only trust myself with 1 protein bar at a time. Very nice flavour and decent amount of protein in them.

I've been a big fan of these bars for many years to the extent that I was eating one pretty much every day, Until now.PHD have changed the recipe in a big way. The bars are now less crunchy, nowhere near as tasty and generally now an average protein bar.Sadly this will be the last time I buy these.If PHD are reading this, you have made a massive mistake. I would never have purchased the amount I did if Id known they had changed how terrible they would be.

Delicious and big enough to be really satisfying!

Nice tasting - very slight chemical sweetener aftertaste but much better than the vast majority of bars out there and unlike others they didn't give me gut ache either.. Recommended
