I previously had a Altro Smart door, one of the few smart door with a camera, rather then needing two system. This is a major improvement over Altro's. 1) The ability to run a local server for video recording and storage directly to the chime hub is +1 2) The apps control and integration - especially for the start up was simple as long as you've got a basic level of logic setup. 3) I already had the door holes and latch done from the altro, so it was a direct swap with zero carpentry work. I didn't even need to swap the door latch, so I have a spare for the future. 4) Quiet. It's amazing how the mechanical sound of door opening and closing was so noticeable with the Altro, when I had the Eufy S330 setup and working, I nearly hear it open or shut (initially concern, thinking it wasn't working!). Overall, great upgrade for me and so far, very pleased with it.

Overall great product. Works well as described. Please note that unless you're a handyman yourself, you'll need to have the installation service as well.

The device fingerprint stopped working after few weeks, contacted the seller who kept asking me a lot of questions back and forth exchanging messages for many days, reached out to Amazon to help me with the seller and the shocking response came asking me to sort it out with the seller, there is nothing we can help you with !!!!! Thanks Amazon.

Just great ! You can remotely open/lock the door . If anyone ring the bell you can view on the camera and the data is saved hence you can replay the video

This is a great little 3 in 1 product. Though it has its pros and cons. Pros: - Once you make the right holes in the door (instructions are clearly shown in the manual), this is a breeze to setup - Camera/Recordings are all of good quality and the night vision surprisingly works very well - The app is pretty good and user friendly Cons: - Getting human alerts for known people is a mess. They claim this can be handled if you connect a homebase, though I could not get that working at all and the support team could not help. I ended up returning the homebase (though the doorbell works fine) - I have installed for about 3-4 months and only twice did I need to re-calibrate the lock. It might have to do with my installation (perks of DIY I guess), though it was an easy 30 seconds fix - Slight lag in the live capture I would say about 2-3 seconds, which is annoying. I do have a high bandwidth wifi connection (and the doorbell is right next to the router) so this is I assume a doorbell limitation Overall I would recommend this doorbell though 4 stars due to no 'known person' alert disabling option (refer to details in #1 under cons above).

It's been a week now and it works as described. The installation provided by Amazon's partner was also very agile and great. And the fingerprint reader is super fast!

After installing the lock in the door I tried to connect it to the app as per instruction manual and the QR code showed an error. Only after I contacted Anker service, which is awesome by the way, I found out that the right way to do it is to connect the WiFi receiver first by scanning its own QR code (the one that eufy app mentions), then the receiver connects to the lock and then with the QR code received to the app, the camera connects. Sounds complicated and it’s not. Instruction is useless and I wasted time trying to connect and didn’t think about contacting support. Overall very good product and Anker support team is amazing.

Unfortunately due to a private situation I never had it installed but they were perfect.

I purchased this doorbell as the first step into the Eufy system back in Nov 2022. I was initially slightly hesitant due to the higher cost, but I fully believe it was worth it. Now, in Oct 2024, it still is working perfectly well. I barely have to charge it since it holds battery incredibly well still. I do not have the HomeBase system, so this review is coming from considering this as a stand-alone product. My favorite thing is there are absolutely no additional costs. When I purchased a Ring Doorbell, I did not know that to view anything, I would have to pay a sub, that is why I originally ditched Ring and came to Eufy. I can view everything on my phone without paying a dime to view live, view recordings, and control my doorbell from my phone. Since then, I have added multiple other Eufy products to my house and have no regrets. With this doorbell, you can set motion zones so that you aren't picking up on the street constantly. You can also set up multiple passcodes for different people as well as fingerprints. My fingerprints have never failed me unless my fingers are too dirty or wet, but that is understandable. You can also set up allowed times for people to visit, so say you want a friend to be able to come in during the day, you can set them up with a passcode that only works from 8a-9p. Using it after those hours will reject them which is a pretty nice feature for babysitters, dog walkers, or any services that take place. I also set up an emergency code to be able to give a 911 operator should anything happen that way they don't have to break down my door if I am unable to unlock it either manually or via the app. (As in unable to navigate my phone due to the state I am in.) Highly recommended, you can always change it after! The only negative I will note is that it has a very long delay to announcing any motion on my Alexa device; however, that might be an Alexa integration communication issue on Alexa's end and not Eufy, that I don't know and it doesn't really bother me. There is also a delay on getting notifications to my phone sometimes as well. Since I am not too worried about viewing who is at my door live, I don't mind it. I mostly got the camera to make sure I don't have any packages stolen since I order from Amazon a lot. I have caught both UPS and FedEx leaving packages at my door that were supposed to be signed for and forging my signature which had those packages have been stolen, I would have been SOL if I didn't have that footage recorded since they faked my signature both times! Definitely a good camera to have to ensure you don't get any issues with that. Little bonus: if you own a cricut or labeler, there is enough space at the bottom of the doorbell to put a small "No Soliciting" sticker right below the doorbell button.
